Chapter 19- Meanie

Emma's POV
"He asked you on a date!" Lily squealed excitedly, jumping up and down on her bed. "Yes he did." I reply with a smile, Stacey looks at Charlotte and smirks. "You owe me and Lily ten bucks."

"You guys bet on this?" I question with a chuckle, Charlotte nods dramatically. "Of course! Unfortunately I thought you would end up with Ben first but I was wrong."

"What happened between you two anyways? I sense tension." Lily asked with a smirk. I sigh as my happy mood soon turns a little upset. "Friday night I got into a fight with Ben, and he told me out of rage that he slept with Kat the night that I was almost raped-"

"And he had the nerve to take credit?!" Stacey said angrily, Charlotte and Lily gasp. "Exactly. So basically I flipped him off and told him to go fuck himself and I haven't talked to him since. But I'm okay with that. The only thing I am worried about is Liam, I know that he's going to tell the truth."

"No he won't. Because if he tells the truth then I can just say that he came onto me and I kept saying no but he wouldn't listen and you were just there to protect me, which is exactly what happened. And if you get questioned then that means they will go down for assaulting you both times and they will get arrested." Stacey said logically, I shrug, not knowing what is going to happen.

Charlotte decided to change the subject back to the topic of Sam and I to lighten the mood. "So when is he taking you out? And where?"

"He's surprising me. I'm not expecting anything fancy, just being with him will be enough." They all smile and say "aww" in unison.

"I have the perfect idea! We should have a sleepover. That way we can help Emma get ready, but also you will be here when she gets back." Lily said with a smirk, they both nod with smiles on their faces.

Sam's POV
"So you and Emma huh?" Mike questions with a smirk, I chuckle and roll my eyes. "Yes, I finally asked her out."

"So is this part of the bet?" Grayson questions with a cough, I shake my head. "I'm done with the bet. I was done with it the minute she called me upset at the cemetery. I really like her a lot, and who knows, maybe we will be a couple-"

"Um no, you WILL definitely be a couple by winter formal. There's obvious chemistry, even more than what Lily and I have. So what are you planning?" Parker questions excitedly, sounding just like Lily, we all started to laugh but Parker didn't catch on. "What?"

"Y-you sound just like your girlfriend!" Mike said in between laughs. Parker crosses his arms just like Lily would, we all just laughed harder. "I do not! Where's Ben? Shouldn't he be here too?"

"Lily hasn't told you? Sam and Emma have beef with Ben." Parker's eyes go wide. "I knew that you and Ben had beef but I didn't know that him and Emma have beef, they seemed so nice with each other."

"Yeah, they got into a fight with each other Friday night. I can't even imagine how tense it is in the house between them.  And it's only going to get worse at school since we all sit together at lunch now."

"Do you think he's going to sit with us?" Grayson questions, Mike and I shrug. "I honestly don't know. When Ben gets mad he usually doesn't talk to people for a while. He's barely talked to me since we fought at homecoming, but to be fair I did break his thumb but he broke Emma's trust so we're even now."

"What do you mean he broke her trust? What did he do?" Parker questions apprehensively, I sigh and shake my head. "He slept with Kat the night of Stacey's party. And I feel stupid cuz I told him to take credit for taking her home since she was pissed at me at the time. But if I would've known he was with Kat that night then I would've told her it was me in the first place. I feel awful." I replied truthfully, Parker shook his head.
