Chapter 20

Cato

Katniss and I go over to the coffee store to get some coffee for the guys. We decide not to get the coffee's yet as they may be too cold for everyone.

“Hey, I need to use the restroom. I'll be right back. ” Katniss says getting up.
“Okay. But if you take too long I'll leave. ”
“But I have Clove, Glimmer and Marvel's money. ”
“I’ll pay for them all. ”
“As if you will have enough money, I have Peeta's and mine as well. ”
“I will pay for them if you don't hurry up. ”
“Ok.”
“I have an idea. You give me the money and tell me who wants what and I'll get them while your gone. ”
“Ok, deal, ” she says handing me $20 “And Clove wants a cookie too”
“Got it. ”

I head up in the small queue. About a minute later I get to the top.

“Hi, how may I help you.”
“Can I have six espressos please. And also can I have a cookie. ”
“Ok. You must be one thirsty guy if your drinking this much of you don't mind me saying. ”
“No, only one's for me the other five and the cookie are for my friends. ”
“And can I get your friends' names and yours please. ”

I'm so evil. Mwa ha ha, >8D.

“Sure. The first one is ‘bread boy’ (Peeta). ”
“Is his name really ‘bread boy’ ?”
“No, most of them are nicknames.”
“Okay. B-R-E-A-D-B-O-Y. Next name.”
“Girl on fire (Katniss).”
“Ok got it.” he says and spelling out the letters.”
“Followed by Glarvel (Marvel).”
“How do you spell that?”
“G-L”
“Got it, next.”
“A-R-V”
“Uh-huh.”
“E-L”
“Ok.”
“Next is ‘Glim’ and in brackets can you put down the words ‘oops only Marv is meant to call you that’.”
“Who else? ”
“The next one is Shortie and she also is having the cookie. ”
“Ok, and do you spell Shortie with a y or an ie? ”
“ie.”
“And the last one. ”
“Cato.”
“All right then, I'll call one of the names and you can come up to collect them then. ”
“Got it. ”

I head back to our seats and Jerk face came with his new girlfriend.

“Where's my babe, idiot. ”
I inhaled and exhaled for a second before I replied.
“Went to class, probably knew you'd be here and didn't wanna see you. ”
“Well I didn't wanna see you here but I guess I did. ”

Right than he punched me square in the face.
“Was that a mosquito bite. ” I say even though my eye still hurts.
“Ugh... Let's go Alice. ”

Katniss comes out just when they call out Bread boy. I signal Katniss to come with me and I payed the man.

We left the coffee store silent until Katniss noticed my eye.
“Holy peacock. ” she says startled but still holding her, Peeta and Glimmer's coffee.
“What?”
“You have a black eye. ”
“Umm.... ”
“You know what don't tell me what happened. ”
“Fine by me. ”

“Seriously you put my name as ‘bread boy’.”
“It was that or lover boy. ” I say back.

Peeta was the first one finished as he only had one free subject.

The guys show up.

“About time. Here. ” I say giving each one of them their coffee.

Clove looked at the name and looked like she was about to murder someone. No 100 people. Than she looks up and notices my eye.

“What happened? ” she asked looking at my eye.
“Oh Declan you know. ”
“What do you mean you know. ”
“It felt like a mosquito bite. Oh. By the way he got a new girlfriend. ”
“Who?! ” everyone says.

“Her name is Alice. ”

Authors note: I'm sorry I'm not posting often or alot. I'm sorry about that. You can blame school and stuff like that.

I have an idea for a new story as well. Also my dad says I'm playing to long on my phone so I don't get to go on it as often.
