Now he was really confused with his feelings. He likes Marinette now, but why did his heart beat so fast when he was around Ladybug?

He sighed. Should he visit Marinette now? But was he really okay with Marinette not having a crush on Adrien?

He was okay at first, but he needed Marinette to love both sides of him. What if one day he would have to reveal himself as that he was Cat Noir. How was Marinette going to react?!

"Kind, stop worrying yourself. So I was wrong, and Marinette doesn't like Adrien in that way, but at least she loves Cat Noir." Plagg exclaimed.

He threw a cheese up in the air and caught it in his mouth.

"I know. I just think that I might... Be having feelings for Ladybug again."

"Again?!" Plagg yelled. "But you like Marinette now!"

I mean, they're the same person, but I kinda want you to like Marinette more.

"I know I like her and I still do," Adrien looked up at the ceiling. "But the only way I can get to her is as Cat Noir."

"Kid, it doesn't matter anyways," Plagg huffed and looked away. "You already rejected Ladybug."

Adrien widened his eyes at the memory. He groaned, not knowing if Ladybug was even going to accept him back if he confessed to her.

"Don't try to go for Ladybug, Adrien," Plagg said. "I know I messed up with my last advice, hut listen to me when I say this: try to go for Marinette instead. She already likes Cat Noir. Why not make her fall for Adrien?"

Adrien stared at Plagg. "That's... Actually not a bad idea."

"Of course it's not a bad idea!" Plagg exclaimed as he grabbed another cheese. "I came up with it."

Adrien grabbed his phone and dialed Marinette's number.

"Hello Adrien. Is there any problem?"

"Uh, no, no problem," Adrien cleared his throat. "I was wondering if I could come over."

"Why?"

"Why? Eh, because I thought it would be fun if we could spend some time together," Adrien said. "We haven't really talked in a while for that long."

Marinette seemed to think about it, before finally answering. "Sure, no problem."

Before she would always stutter around me and be all flustered, but not anymore. I... Kinda miss that.

"Alright, I'll be going. Thanks for the great idea, Plagg," Adrien stood up from his bed and reached for the door.

"Like I said, I came up with it, so of course it's great."

Plagg flew to hide in his shirt pocket, before they left the room.

"Adrien is coming over?" Tikki asked again as she heard the news from Marinette.

"Yeah, I wonder why, but he said it would be fun," Marinette smiled. "I actually think it's going to he fun."

"Of course it's going to he fun, it's Adrien, silly." Tikki giggled.

"Yeah, but, I kinda lost feelings for him, so... "

"So that's why you're not all flustered anymore," Tikki sighed. "Why? You feel for Cat Noir instead?"

Marinette nodded.

Marinette, you're falling for the same person. Ugh! Whatever. Maybe if you have this "date" with Adrien, you will gain feelings for him again.

Marinette heard voices down stairs. "Oh, I think he's here. Hide, Tikki."

Tikki found a hiding spot and Marinette went down stairs. Indeed Adrien was there.

"Ah, Marinette, why didn't you tell me your boyfriend was visiting?" Sabine laughed as she welcomed Adrien in.

Adrien blushed, but Marinette remained as cool and walked up to Sabine.

"That's because I don't... At least not yet." Her mind was off to Chat before she got cut off by Adrien.

"So, let's start."

"Start what? Your date?" Sabine didn't totally get it. When Marinette said "at least not yet," she thought maybe she was saying that she was on a date with Adrien, and soon Adrien was going to ask her to he his girlfriend.

(Admit it. Who wouldn't want that to happen, instead of the same old "she's just a friend"?)

"Mama, me and Adrien aren't dating," Marinette exclaimed again as she took Adrien's hand and headed to the Duke. "We're just going out as friends."

"Sure, whatever you say. But what happened to your crush on Adr-"

Marinette banged the door close to prevent hearing the rest of that sentence.

"Sorry about her," She looked up at Adrien, who unexpectedly had a huge smile on his face.

"It's fine," Adrien waved it off. "Your mom is pretty cool. So, um, any suggestions on where we should go?"

"Yeah, sure."
