"Marinette?"
Marinette waited for him to say something else, but it was silent for a few seconds. She looked up at him.
"Listen," She spoke. "I do not care what you think. I know you never expected Ladybug to be a clumsy girl like me, but yeah she is! And if you don't like me for me, then too bad, you're going to regret it-"
"Who said I didn't like you?" Adrien frowned. "Yes, I never expected it. I'm surprised, shocked even. But it all makes sense now."
Marinette widened her eyes as Adrien pulled her into a tight hug. "I thought I was choosing between two amazing girls, turns out they're the same girl, and I'm really glad about that."
"Really?" Marinette smiled. "I thought you were going to run away or something."
"I would never."
Marinette felt more than happy just hearing Adrien say those words. She was basically cheering and celebrating in her head at how before she had been so scared, and now she was so relieved.
"Alright, I'll see you later." Adrien started waving at her. She waved back and she watched him leave, before she too started heading to her bakery.
-------
That night all Marinette could think about was how well the reveal had went. She couldn't stop staring at the pictures of her beloved, both sides of him; Adrien and Chat Noir. Hearing him say that he loved her even under the mask was the least she expected.
Then she heard a knock coming from her window. She headed over to see a certain cat outside, waiting for her to open up. Marinette opened the window and let Chat Noir in.
"Hey Buginette," Chat Noir was quick to pull her into a kiss before she could even back away. Her face was red, remembering that it was Adrien under that mask. Her crush was kissing her.
Finally Chat Noir pulled away and let Marinette close the window. Marinette covered her red face as she faced Chat Noir. "So, um.. Hi."
Chat Noir chuckled at the childish behavior Marinette was giving him. He then walked over and uncovered her face. "Blushing? Cute."
Marinette walked away from him, going back to her desk. "So, why are you here?"
"Just wanted to see you is all," Chat Noir shrugged as he walked over to her. "What are you up to?"
"I'm just designing a new dress," Marinette answered. "And are you ready here just to see me? You might have come here to ask for something."
Chat Noir didn't say anything for a while, but then he nodded. "Yeah... I, I just wanted to know if you're free today."
Marinette whirled her chair around to face Chat. "Why do you need to know if I'm free or not?"
"I want us to go on our official first date," Chat turned away. "Hopefully I'm not going to fast with this whole dating thing."
"Chat..." Marinette looked down, not knowing what to say. "I... Um..."
"So, no?"
"Yes!" Marinette closed her eyes shut as she blurted out. "Yes, I'm free and I would love to go out."
Chat chuckled as he took her arm. "You want to go now?" Marinette nodded again. "Okay then."
Suddenly he lifted her up, carrying her bridal style, and headed to the window. He opened it and jumped out.
"Chat, where are we going? Shouldn't I get ready first?"
"Oh, it doesn't matter," Chat Noir laughed as he started jumping from one building to the next. "Just as long as I have my Princess with me, everything is absolutely great!"
