MTHB45. ONE WEEK
ANY movement shot jolts of electricity to my toes, curling them in pain. Hindi ako gumagalaw. Tipid ko syang pinagmamasdan mula sa isang upuan.
"Thankyou for coming and celebrating my birthday. Let's enjoy this night" Adrian said on the mic on stage.
I saw how genuine his smile. Someone makes him happy. Thinking about the thing that someone's make him happy makes me feel weak
Kasalanan mo! Pinabayaan mo
Kumuha ako ng kopita at nilagok iyon. I'm alone in the mini table. Selene isn't here. She's playing with her friends and classmates.
"Xia" someone caught my attention
"Adrian?" I asked.
"You came." He simply said and walks toward my place. He also held a glass of wine .
"Yes. Selene told me to came. Thankyou for inviting me" I smiled trying to be casual
"Alright. Enjoy the food" he said.
He was about to leave when I called his name for some matter reason.
"Hmnn?" He hummed
"Uh. Here's my gift. Happy birthday" I said and give box.
"A gift? Nag-abala ka pa. Salamat" ngiting wika nito.
He was about to open it when I suddenly speak
"I know this gift won't contribute any staffs on your accessories, and supplies. Ito kase ang kaagad kong naisip na ibigay sayo" paliwanag ko.
" A necktie?" He ask.
"Yes. You know, I just found that the color of this tie suits for you. Hope you to wear it even just for once" I smiled
"I will. This one is beautiful Xia." He said
Akala ko ay hindi nya magugustuhan. Isang linggo naming pagkain ni Selene ang pinambili ko sa regalong yan.
"Salamat" sabi nito.
"Hey dude, Happy birthday, come with me. I'll introduce you to my cousin" anunsyo ng isang lalaki.
Tumingin sakin si Adrian. Tumango lang ako at ngumiti. He left me. Well, that's life, he can't stay on my side for a long time but atleast he stay for a meantime. Not bad.
Nakaramdam ako ng gutom kaya napagpasyahan ko ng kumain. Selene was on my side now.
"Mom, Can I eat those sweet mallows?" She asked with her tantalizing eyes.
"Yes. You can" i smiled and give a mallows on her plate.
"Balik ka na sa table natin. Kukuha lang ako ng iba pang foods" tumango naman si Selene at umalis na.
I'm busy to get some sweet foods when I heard someone talking behind
"Adrian, this is my cousin Patricia." Napalingon ako sa gawi ni Adrian.
"Nice meeting you Patricia" Adrian smiled and offer his hand.
"Yeah. So you're Adrian. A hot and young owner of a Prominent company. You're more hot in person" Patricia giggled.
Such a pest. She has a bad mouth. Pwede namang sarilihin lang ang pagpantasya. Binulgar pa.
"Well, Adrian, hindi na ko magpapaligoy ligoy pa. I want to be your one of the closest friend or something more about friends" kumunot ang noo ko.
Patuloy ako sa pagkuha ng sweet foods pero patuloy pa din ang pakikinig ko sa usapan nila.
"You mean?" Adrian ask waiting for a confirmation. She's a whore.
