Chapter 46: Adrian's side

NAGISING ako nang maramdaman ko ang mainit na araw na tumama saking mukha.

It's already eight in the morning when I decided to go on a bathroom and fix myself.

I still remember how he entertain his visitors and introduce me as his wife. I'm sure. I'm happy with him. I felt jealous on a woman who likes him to date. And I can't help but to think if he agree or not.

Bumaba ako ng hagdan at di ako nagkakamali at naron na ang mag-ama at tumutulong sa paghahanda ng pagkain.

"Goodmorning" adrian greet her.

"G-Good morning" she greeted back.

"Let's eat" he suggested so she nod and choose to sit on a chair beside him.

She eat some omellet but she's just chewing it for about a seconds when she felt something on her stomach.

She ran away and go towards the sink and burst it

"You okey?" She feels adrian's hand on her back.

"I'm fi----" she didn't finish to say something when she already feel another thing that was about to burst.

"Maybe there's something on the food" he said still caressing her back.

"The food is good dad." Selene said.

"Oh no! Stop eating that Selene. Maybe there's something bad on that omellet" he shouted

Nagmumog ako at nagpunas ng bibig.
Muli ay bumalik ako sa hapag at naupong muli.

"Anong gagawin mo?" Tanong ko ng makitang kinukuha nya ang omellete sa mesa

"I'm gonna dispose them. It's harmful" he said and throw it on a trashbin.

"Sayang" i whispered.
"It's not a waste Xia. You and Selene's health is too expensive " he smiled makes my heart fluttered.

I wish I can see how he treat me like this before. Sana dati palang ganito na kami.

We continue to eat together. No wonder I feel more comfortable with him than before. I feel something that I didn't feel before. I want to stay like this. Stay with his side. Stay with this family, but there's still too many if's.

Adrian decided to go out of town but I refuse it. He didn't say something and I'm happy that he's looking for my opinion.

"Xia" he called my name in a husky voice.

"Hmnn?" I hummed while combing his hair. His head is resting on my lap while Xia is on the pool, swimming alone.

"Can you please stay?" He said makes my brows knot.

"Stay? What do you mean stay?" I asked worriedly.

"Don't leave me anymore. I can't lost you and Selene anymore" he said still looking to my eyes.

"Adrian." I called his name in almost whispered. I don't know what to say. I can't promise that I'm gonna stay on his side. I'm weak! I'm weak on my own decision. I can't stay that's true. I'm afraid to stay

"Please Xia.. stay" he begged.

Nag-iwas ako ng tingin pero ramdam ko ang tensyon sa pagitan naming dalawa  " I can't promise Adrian" i said straight to the point.

"Why? Please Xia, I'm begging. Please stay , don't leave me. Weeks, months, and even years. Please stay" he begged makes my tears molded in the side of my eyes.

"The truth is, I really can't stay Adrian. I'm afraid to stay" I said. Tinayo nito ang ulo kayat pantay na ang mga mukha namin.

"I understand. I shouldn't brought that topic yet. I'm just ruining are deal. Sorry for that" he said and smile like there's nothing happened.
