Y/n's POV
You were walking around the empty park in Richmond. Just thinking. You always going out on walks to clear your mind from stress. You were surprised that there weren't many people there. It's usually pretty busy. 

Tom's POV
I almost always rent out the park just for Tessa she's my princess and she needs her privacy.  We've been walking around for an hour and she was perfectly fine until she started getting really exited randomly. I thought she saw a cat or something. Then she's pulling on her leash and barking at something.

Or someone....

Tessa is trying to get me to move with her. Her leash broke so she took off running. I scream her name and ran after her. Of course Tessa is way to fast for little old me. She randomly stops in front of someone in the park. I catch up to her and she's just jumping on someone being played with. I look up and see a beautiful girl in front of me. I immediately become flustered and try to apologize to the girl. She nods and says she's fine and I have a adorable dog. We finally make eye contact and it's the most awkward moment until Tess prances back to me very happily.

Y/n's POV
A dog runs up to me and starts playing with me. I thought she was the most adorable thing in the world. Then her owner comes up to me and apologizes. We make eye contact and I feel my cheeks get hot.

Damn he's attractive

You try to talk but you get scared of embarrassing yourself in front of stranger. After a very awkward moment he finally speaks up.

Stranger: I'm sorry about this she never acts like this.
You: It's perfectly fine, she's beautiful what's her name?
Stranger: Tessa.
You: That's a beautiful name and may I ask who you are?
Stranger: Oh of course, my apologies I'm Tom.
You: Y/n
You shake hands with Tom and immediately feel my cheeks getting warm again.

You and Tom talk for about an hour finding out you both have a lot in common. Tom and I exchange numbers because he says his youngest brother needs help back home. You and Tom say goodbye and you bend down to Tessa and give her a quick goodbye and rub the back of her ears.

Tom chuckles at Tessa's reaction.

3 years later

I'm walking down the aisle in my drop dead gorgeous wedding dress locking eyes with Tom. God I love that man so much.

4 years later

You're in your home with your husband of 4 years cuddling on the couch while watching your 3 year old daughter MJ, play with your 18 month old son Peter. Also having Tessa laying in between your feet.

You've never been happier to have best family in the world. And to think it all started with Tessa running up to me. Thank you Tessa, you think to yourself kissing Tom's jaw.
