Save Me

Chapter Nine

Noah and I are playing in the backyard at his house. We were about 10 and it was a hot summer day. The sprinkler was on and we spent hours running threw it and throwing water balloons at each other.

We went inside for lunch, my aunt ;his mom; made PB&J sandwiches. They were Noah's favourite...

We were eating and bugging each other by poking the other person while they were eating or trying to make them laugh while taking a drink so they would spit it out.

We were talking about where we wanted to go when we got older. "I want to go to some place with weird cool looking animals!" I said, I love animals!

"I want to go to London! I think it would cool to hear a British accent and travel threw all of London!" Noah grinned. "I hope we get to go where we want to when we're older." I smiled thinking of all the fun things we could do going to our dream locations.

"Me to!!! I hope you'll come with me though." Noah said poking me again. "Let's promise to travel with each other." I told him holding out my pinky. "I promise." He said wrapping his pinky around mine and smiling.

Then my mind fast forwarded to when my aunt called me to tell me what happened to Noah's flight..

I was sitting at home in my room at my parents house. I was 16. I was rockin out to One Direction and dancing around my room when my phone rang.

"Aunt Mell" popped up on the lock screen.

Me- Hey aunt Mell!!

I could hear her crying on the other end of the line so I turned off my music to listen better.

Me- Whats wrong!?

Mell- it's Noah....

Right then my gut started to feel... off.

Me- what happened?

Mell- Noah left for London last night and his plane crashed a while ago and he... he died.

She started crying harder. Barely even able to talk.

My heart sunk and I started balling. I couldn't think.

Me- what?

Mell- I'm so sorry dear..

Me- I'm gonna go..

Mell- I love you Alanna

She said and I just hung up the phone and dropped it on my bed. I was in shock and I couldn't even move.

Tears started pouring from my eyes and I started hyperventilating. I couldn't even breath, my whole face went numb. My whole body went numb.

The flash back ended and I went back to sitting in a towel on my bed.

It was the worst day of my life. My best friend was gone! I didn't even know he was going to London.

He never told me, we got in a fight the day before and the last thing I said to him was, "leave. I don't wanna see you for a while and I honestly don't give a shit about what you have to say!"

I started crying my eyes out. I missed him so damn much. I walked to my dresser and placed the picture back on my dresser.

I grabbed my clothes off the bed and decided I didn't wanna wear track pants and a tank top. I put them back in my dresser and went to Calum's bag.

I found a Nirvana T-shirt. I put my matching pink lace bra and panties on then Calum's shirt. It was kinda big and went just below my bum.

I was still crying and all I could think of was Noah. I walked to the kitchen and got some water then went and sat on the couch.
