Cole knew that he said that he didn't know why he is drawn to Malody to Garmadon which shocked him on how he said it. Garmadon's reaction gave Cole a reason that his being drawn to Malody is something that he's familiar with. "There is a concept among the elemental masters being soulmates," Garmadon said looking between Cole and Malody. "Soulmates? I heard my mom telling about that though I never knew what that meant," Cole said remembering the stories about soulmates that he had been told from his mother. "Lily always had a way with stories but how much did she tell you about soulmates?" Garmadon asked Cole. "A soulmate is one's other half who is drawn to their other half," Cole said knowing how his mom defined the term. "That's right but for elemental masters, it means that there is another master that balances their other half," Garmadon said looking over to Malody. Cole looked over to his sensei knowing that this is something that holds some weight to them. 

Malody felt a draw to Cole not knowing that the master of earth is her soulmate though she remembered when Aunt Elena told her about soulmates.  It was a topic that she had explained to the young elemental master that soulmates were rare among the Ninjago's people but it was rarer among elemental masters. "A penny for your thoughts?" Nya asked Malody when she saw her sitting in the shade. "It's just I never thought would fall in love with someone before," Malody said looking over to Cole. Nya looked over to Cole when she realized that Malody fell in love with him which shocked her. "You love Cole don't you and that's something that you don't know to handle it," Nya said as she sat down next to the silver ninja. 

Malody nodded at the comment that she can't argue against the point. "Sometimes you have to take a risk of letting yourself fall in love," Nya said. "In my case, you can't let yourself fall in love without the risk of hurting the people you care about," Malody said remembering how much she fought against the Overlord to protect Lloyd. Nya thought the comment over realizing that Malody has a point her point of view that being on how the pain of losing her family is something that she wants to avoid. "I see your point but you can't let that stop you from living your life and using your powers," Nya said noticing that the shadows around them movie just a bit. "You didn't have to live with the shadow of a fate that would have you fight against your own family," Malody said before taking a piece of shadow and turning it into ice. That was something that showed Nya that Malody is more of an ever-changing fighter in terms of elemental powers. Having that little detail about Malody's powers is something that challenges what the team knows about their powers. "That is something that I don't know about but I've seen what a prophecy did to Lloyd before the final battle," Nya said knowing that destiny is something that can't outrun. 

Malody knew that point that Nya made about destiny is something that took her by surprise. "My fate is that of the Overlord's second-in-command but it's not finished so that's why am scared," Malody said as she turned the shadow ice and turned it into a blade of fire. The ever-changing elements that Malody kept doing are something that Nya knew that it was something was from her training. "Now that is something that you can find out what it is and quick question how can you change elements," Nya said pointing out that detail. "I haven't always been able to change element and it was something that I learned from Mistake," Malody said with a smile. Nya knew that Mistake had been one of the few people that would tell them the things that the Senseis won't tell them. 

"You have to teach me a few things that you know," Nya said wanting to learn from someone else other than Wu or Garmadon. "Just let me know what you want to learn 'cause I have a few things that I want to teach Jay," Malody said remembering that she still has the scrolls that Elena had given her. Having someone who knows how far their powers could go because Malody knows what their powers could do. "You know that you have something to offer the team compared to the rest of the team when we joined the team," Nya said before getting up to head inside.
