"Why didn't you tell me that I have a sister?" Lloyd asked his father and uncle. They explained that it would've been better for Malody to live an everyday life. "I call lies in that Wu because you left me alone after dad was banished with a family that hated elemental masters who kicked me out and dad was the only one who could remotely say that I would live a normal life. Second, you honestly think that I would give up on the only thing I had known my entire life you are wrong," Malody said before noticing that the shadows were moving. That alone took Wu by surprise because both he and Garmadon had taught the ninja to control their powers by controlling their emotions did it always work no but it helped. "That's a fair point but if they kicked you what happened to you afterward?" Zane asked. "Elana and Cliff they were the ones to take me in and she even trained me the best she could given the differencing elements," Malody said with a casual shrug like it was no big deal.

"Wait my birth parents took you in and how old were you?" Jay asked wanting answers. "They did and I was 10 plus if it weren't for them I would've ended up like Morro at the end," Malody said. That would've explained the electrical burns on Malody's arm because it would've been from her training and lightning not being her natural element but that still doesn't account for the scar and the brand. "What about that scar and the brand you have on your arm?" Lloyd asked. "The scar was from dad from when he was banished to the Underworld so there isn't much of an explanation for it but the brand had been from the Overlord," Malody said with pain in her voice at the end there as the memory hurts. "You worked with the Overlord when he came didn't you but he had you go after Lloyd," Kai said guessing what happened looking at the ninja in silver in front of them. Malody gave him a look that could kill and was filled with anger and pain it was something that he was expecting. "I never chose to side with the Overlord and you don't know what it's like to be tortured physically, emotionally, and mentally to the point where you couldn't look at your reflection and be utterly terrified of your powers," Malody said with such pain that something like that could happen to someone. Jay was the only one that could relate to the whole situation with Nadikan but that was more physical knowing that one of their biggest villains that they faced twice back to back had tortured Malody three different ways was shocking. 

"Why did he do that to you," Lloyd asked. "It was because I was fighting back and I refused to hurt you. Your my brother and I made myself a promise that I wouldn't hurt you despite my destiny," Malody said. Wu and Garmadon realized that Malody was the one that the Guardian prophecy had been talking about though they don't know much Malody knew about it. Lloyd realized that even though he didn't know about his sister she was trying to protect him at great risk to herself. The rest of the team realized how much they took their powers for granted and never realized that something that happened to Malody could happen to them and that one could be terrified of their powers. "You risked everything just to protect Lloyd even when you were meant to be his enemy," Zane said knowing that even one can protect others despite their current situation. With a simple nod, Malody said yes, and having something like that could happen to anyone like them is unbelievable. 

"You figured that it was time to come back didn't like a feeling that something was about to happen?" Lloyd asked. "Yeah plus with a small note of encouragement from two former elemental masters it was time to come back," Malody said with a small smile on her face. Kai and Nya were surprised that their parents gave her a note to bring her back into this life. "Malody never left this life," Theon said with a slight chuckle before getting hit on the back of the head by Malody. The team noticed that Malody and Theon had a sibling relationship in a such way that they didn't have. Garmadon realized that Malody had changed so much that he was surprised that she was more than willing to change things since he last saw her. "I know that it would take time for you to trust me again after what happened," Wu said. "That's a fair point and that is only being the only condition on me joining the team," Malody said.
