Five times Arthit went on a date without being aware and one time he did
--
1.
Arthit jogs his way to the mall’s main entrance. He pants looking for his junior, Kongpob, who asked for help regarding some books. It’s a Saturday, and since Arthit doesn’t have anything better to do, he figures it wouldn’t hurt to accompany his junior. He needed a haircut anyway, and Arthit’s been meaning to have one he just hadn’t found the time to do it.
It’s past 11am when he gets to the mall, and when Arthit spots Kongpob standing at the middle waiting he immediately goes over to his junior and apologizes for being late.
“It’s okay, P’Arthit,” Kongpob smiles at him and says, “I just got here as well.”
He had told Kongpob to just meet him at the mall since Arthit can’t control when he’ll wake up. He thought he was early, but it turns out that Kongpob’s punctuality is left unmatched against him.
“Shall we go?” Kongpob asks and he nods.
Arthit thinks his junior is too dressed for a simple trip at the mall, so he makes sure to tease Kongpob for it.
“What’s with the get-up?” he smirks, eyeing Kongpob from head to toe.
“Oh,” Kongpob stops to frown at him and says, “Well, I just thought . . . I just wanted to look good,” his junior ends up mumbling.
With his plain black shirt and jeans, Arthit says, “I look way too normal standing next to you.”
“You’re far from normal, P’Arthit,” he hears Kongpob saying before resuming his walk. Arthit raises his brows and shrugs, catching up to his junior towards the bookstore.
Once they reached the store, Kongpob browses for books as Arthit follows him from behind. He doesn’t know why Kongpob would need help picking reading materials when his junior is clearly capable of doing it himself, not to mention that Kongpob is at the top of his class right now.
“What are you looking for anyway?” Arthit asks.
“Hmm,” Kongpob hums, brushing his fingers on the spine of a book. “Some advance reading materials, P’Arthit. I thought you might help me with that.”
“Why do you need to read something advanced?” He asks. “The school year’s about to be over.”
Kongpob turns to him and smiles. “It’s always good to be prepared.”
Arthit lets his junior browse for books he had told him to as he looks for titles himself. It seems that his mind wanders for a minute because he doesn’t notice Kongpob shifting until Arthit bumps into his junior’s back.
“Oh,” Arthit blinks. “Sorry, didn’t see you there.”
Kongpob just gives him a smile, books on hand. Something must have caught his junior’s eyes because Kongpob steps forward suddenly, making him take a step back, and the next thing Arthit know is him being trapped against one of the shelves with Kongpob’s arm blocking his way.
Being this close to his junior makes Arthit nervous somehow. He suddenly can’t look Kongpob in the eyes, and Arthit’s body fails him when his cheeks suddenly feel warm.
“K-Kongpob,”
He hears a sigh coming from his junior and he finally looks up. There’s a look on Kongpob’s eyes that hinted sadness but it goes away in an instant. Arthit rolls his shoulders back when his junior takes a step back with another book in hand.
