Librarian!Kongpob

Arthit grabs the first book his hands can find, almost knocking himself in the process as he hides himself away behind the shelves.

He peeks through the creases of the books, scanning the library for that tanned skinned librarian with a sinful smirk always donning his pretty face.

Arthit doesn’t know librarians could be this hot.

He doesn’t spot said librarian, namely Kongpob, so he moves further ahead so he can slip his head out.

He knows how silly he looks, and how this is such a highschool thing to do, but can you blame him?

The first time Arthit visits the public library was to find a book the university library doesn’t have. It wasn’t much of a hassle since the library was just streets away from the school, but Arthit wasn’t much for books in the first place. If it wasn’t for that damned project their professor gave them, then Arthit wouldn’t be in this predicament.

    But then again . . .

    “Do you need help, Arthit?”

Arthit squeaks, snapping his head behind him to find Kongpob looking at him questioningly with that stupid smirk on his face.

He likes to think that the sound that came out of his mouth wasn’t his, but who was he kidding?

“K-Kongpob – P’Kongpob,” he breathes, clutching the book he had grabbed from earlier against his chest.

The librarian’s gaze follows the movement, surprise coloring his pretty tanned face.

“I didn’t know you’re into that kind of genre,” says Kongpob.

“Huh?” Arthit frowns before checking the title of the book he got. “Oh, uh . . .”

    Fifty Shades of Grey.

He freaking grabbed Fifty Shades of Grey.

“Oh, I – I was just checking it out,” Arthit smiles meekly, a blush tinting his cheeks. He tries to covertly put the book back on the shelf, but Kongpob’s eyes trace his hand with a grin. “You know, just looking for title.”

He ends his stupid excuse with a forced laugh. Kongpob shakes his head with a smile and replies, “Not the choice I would have pegged you.”

    “Not a fan?”

    “Not really,”

“I see,” Arthit avoids eye contact. He wasn’t aware that he’s at the adult section of the library, and Kongpob must think of him as some kind of pervert.

The librarian’s quite out of his league, if Arthit’s to be honest. Kongpob is smart, handsome, and by the looks of it, working out with how toned his arms are whenever Kongpob reaches for a book high up on the shelves.

Those times are Arthit’s favorite by the way.

Kongpob so much more Arthit had thought when he first met the guy, and now he’s having doubts about himself since he’s still a university student with nothing to prove.

And now Kongpob doesn’t approve of his choices of books.

Well, he didn’t choose it anyway willingly. That book wasn’t something Arthit will see himself reading.

“Well then,” Kongpob places his hand behind his back, shifting from foot to foot. “If you don’t need anything else, I’ll . . . just go back to work.”
