The not-so-suicidal jumper || Chapter 1- Skyscraper
--Maddy's POV--
"Mum."
"Mum."
"MUM!"
"What?" She snapped, turning and glaring my way. I bit my lip and rolled my eyes at her childish behaviour.
"Can I go hang out with Taylor?" I asked and she grunted in response, turning her back on me again.
"That will be the last time I'll ever ask you for anything!" I spoke harshly, pushing past my mother and into my small bedroom.
If you haven't already picked it up, my mother hates me. So does my dad.
It all started when my mum was pregnant with my little brother. I purposely jumped on top of her stomach when I was angry and killed him. My parents hate me now.
They ended up trying for another son but ended up with my sister, Sophia. She's eight now and is still too young to realise that our parents don't like her either, they just couldn't do anything else except keep her because of family and friends and my parents 'reputation'.
I slipped into dark wash denim jeans, a band shirt and my combat boots and pulled my long dyed blonde hair into a high ponytail. I realised that my blue tank top and baggy pyjama pants weren't cutting it.
Making sure I could hear the tv playing-meaning my family was watching it- I crawled out the window. Since we don't have a two story house, I could simply and easily land on my feet outside.
I reached inside my bra and pulled out my most prized possession- my iPhone 5s, otherwise known as my baby. It's the only good thing I own because I saved up enough money to get it.
I held the phone onto my ear and waited until the familiar voice picked up.
"What's up, Maddy?"
"Can I stay other? My mothers on her lifetime period," I snorted and Taylor chuckled lightly.
"Of course you can stay! I don't even know why you decide to ask me?"
I basically lived at Taylor's house. Her parents treated me like I was their daughter and Tay is literally just like my sister.
They are a better fake family than my real one actually is.
Another good thing about Tay and her family is that they live on the street right next to ours, so I can quickly walk there.
I knocked on the door and a caramel blonde haired lady opened it, smiling warmly once her blue eyes locked on my multi coloured ones.
"Maddy dear, please do come in. You look a little chilled?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yes, it is fairly cool out there."
"Go up to Taylor's room, her heating is on."
I obeyed Mrs. Wilson and staggered up the stairs, passing her two sisters who were sprawled across the sofa watching the newest episodes of Pretty Little Liars.
I opened Tay's bedroom door and stepped over her floor of soft toys to get to her. Yes, we might be 16 but since when do you really grow out of childhood memories?
"Family problems?" Tay asked, more like a statement though, since we both knew what happened.
"Yeah, the same old," I sighed.
I was in a pissed off mood right now, according to my mother and all I want to do when I'm like this is feel adrenaline. Not like how normal people though.
