The no-so-suicidal jumper || Chapter 3- BOOM, and your life is changed!
--Maddy's POV--
As I woke up, one thought hit me like an impact.
It's MONDAY.
I groaned and snuggled back into the uncomfortable chair that had make my back sore.
Pepsi was still curled up in my lap, so I got up and gently placed him back on the chair, then I climbed out of the hut and quietly I tip-toed into my room. I definitely wasn't in the mood to talk- or even see- my parents.
I had a shower and washed my hair with my blueberry scented shampoo, and then I changed into a tight violet purple spaghetti strapped shirt, black leather jeans, my combat boots and then I brushed my hair out and left it to flow out normally. I added some mascara and a couple layers or eyeliner and changed my nose ring to a clear stud.
Unfortunately, when I stepped out from my room, I could see my parents watching tv.
I wanted to go back into my room and stay until they were gone but I couldn't be late for school, so I dashed past them like my life depended on it- which in my case, it probably did.
I ran to the bus stop and waited about 5 minutes before it arrived, and a smile spread across my face when Taylor waved me over. Since we go to the same school and live around the corner from each other, we take the same bus.
"You were all over the news!" Taylor whispered quietly, once I had managed to squeeze past everyone and sat beside her.
"Hush, I'll tell you about it once we are off the bus."
I could feel Taylor twitch the whole ride until it was our stop, and then we distanced ourselves from the rest of the kids also coming off.
"Soo.. What happened?" She urged, and I stopped myself from laughing at her.
"My parents managed to realise it was me, and when I talked back to them... My father slapped me.."
Tay gasped and her eyes widened. I just gave her a reassuring look.
"It's alright. I ran outside and slept with Pepsi the whole night, and I've made sure to avoid them since."
Taylor examined my cheeks and sighed.
"It's not noticeable, so you won't have to worry about teachers or other students seeing it," she smiled.
I nodded and we entered school- known to every student as hell.
"I'll see you later," I said as I walked towards my group of friends. Taylor was once part of us but had difficulties with some of the girls.
"See ya later."
I headed up to my friends, Sienna, Paula, Tiana and Belle.
"Hey guys," I smiled and they returned the gesture.
"We found out who Sienna likes, it's Harry," Paula smirked and Sienna shot her a dirty look.
"Hey! I didn't want Maddy to know."
"He's right over there," Belle said and I looked over my shoulder to see the curly haired boy who I sometimes talk to it Geography.
"Harry-" I began but was cut off when Sienna clamped her hand over my mouth.
Harry turned and gave us a weird look, and Sienna blushed like crazy. Not being able to hold my laughter in, I exploded in a fit of giggles and Harry's look changed from 'What?' To 'Your insane'.
Once he looked away, Sienna punched me in the arm and covered her face.
"That wasn't nice!"
Everyone started laughing again, including Sienna, and I knew this was a good time to sneak away and tell Harry. I know she would hate me for it but I recall Harry actually talking about her a couple of times.
