The not-so-suicidal jumper || Chapter 17- Pysco Centre
--Maddy's POV--
"I'm gonna miss Thailand," Carter fake cried and Jack nodded.
"I'm not!" I thought back to the rape and shivered.
We drove my Lamborgini onto the plane and hopped out, walking up to the rest of the passengers.
"Hello passengers, this is your captain speaking. Since this is a high class plane flight, you are free to walk around and chat to anyone."
We sat down at our designated seats and I started talking casually to Emma and Carter, when we turned back around, Jack was missing.
I stood up and looked down the rows and I shook my head in amusement when I noticed Jack chatting up some gorgeous brunette a couple seats down.
I sat back down as the plane took off, and I decided that I wanted to do something entertaining, so I too got off my ass and started to wonder down the aisles.
I bit my lip as I noticed many guys take interest in me. I was wearing a tight violet purple mini skirt and a white tank crop top and some cream wedge heels so I understand why.
I left into the snack section, and smiled at the flirty guy behind the register.
"Hi, one protein bar please?" I said and he placed it on the counter while I got out the money, adding an extra tip.
I hopped down on the sofa in the same room and in the corner of my eye I could see this cute brownish haired guy who's build looked like a football player looking at me.
He stood there eyeing me and I turned into his direction and gave him a pointed look.
"You won't achieve anything by standing there."
He laughed and sat on the opposite couch to mine, and he grinned apologetically.
"Sorry I was staring, you're just so darn gorgeous!" He tried to be flattering and to most it would probably work but I just smiled.
"Thanks, but I'm not really interested in looking for a boyfriend or a fuck buddy at this particular moment."
"Then why did you invite me over here?" He asked confused and I tilted my head to the side.
"Because I'm incredibly bored and you're going to entertain me."
He smirked and bit his lip.
"Well there isn't very much to know, only that I'm the star quarterback in football and I also play a bit of basketball, tennis and hockey. I have a fairly rich family with both parents as doctors, and I have seven siblings."
"Wow," I gasped. "Compared to me you have an interesting life, I lived with my parents and my younger sister before my mother was murdered, my father thought I killed her and went mental, so I put my sister into an orphanage and I left and ran away. I ended up finding somewhere to stay and I met some really great friends."
The guy raised his eyebrow and I realised I didn't know his name.
"Hey I should probably go, but I don't know your name?" I asked.
"I'm Jayden, and you are..?"
"The names Maddy," I nodded and walked back to my seat. I gave Emma and Carter a small smile and I glanced at Jack still laughing along with the girl.
I got out my phone and plugged my earphones in, before I drifted away to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran.
-------
When I woke up from Emma shaking me, the plane was on the ground and we were back at Australia.
I cheered and did a little dance as I got into my car and drove away, back to Emma and Jacks grandma's house.
"Mary-Anne?" I called out when we arrived, but everything was silent.
Emma and I looked at each other and walked inside.
Mary-Anne was getting questioned by some policemen, and I tried quietly to get back out but I managed to step on Carter who was behind me, and he let out a groan.
"There she is!" One of the men declared and the other two grabbed my arm. I glared up at them.
"You are going to the mental institution now, and we are not letting you leave again."
I looked over at my friends and they looked horrified. I was shoved into a police car and my luggage was put in the back.
I was quiet for the whole ride, and I gritted my teeth in annoyance when we pulled up outside the most high tech institution in Victoria.
(A/N ASYLUM ON THE SIDE)
I walked inside with the 'assistance' of the men, and I sighed.
I was registered into the system and then brought down the corridor with a lady who's name is Tracy and a couple of maids, plus the policemen.
I gulped as I looked into the cafeteria room when we passed it, and multiple different types of people were seated in there for lunch.
I was put into a small room with a bed, a bathroom and a bookshelf, and I sat on the bed normally as the door was locked, and then locked again, and then triple locked.
I looked around for about five minutes before I got insanely bored and I picked up a random book and I started to read it.
I was not even a quarter of the way through when the door was loudly opened and a guard and nurse came in.
"Uh, Maddy? A late lunch which today is going to classify as dinner is served now. If you are hungry, now is your only chance until tomorrow."
I followed them into the cafeteria, and I sat on a table on my own.
I got an apple and another protein bar and some water and I sat down and started normally eating them. Soon a guy with dark hair came over.
"Hey, I'm Derek!" He introduced himself and I nodded. "Maddy."
"So this is your first day right?" He asked and I sadly smiled.
"Yeah, it is. Have you got any tips for me to follow in order to survive here?"
"The only one I can think of is to never eat the meat here."
"Okay," I looked over to where they were serving food and when I looked back Derek was staring at me greedily.
"So what are you in here for?" He questioned me and I shrugged.
"Jumping off a skyscraper and setting fire to one, killing hundreds of people. No biggy."
He laughed. "That's cool. I'm a rapist and I fuck about five people daily."
My eyes widened and I backed away. I giggled fakely.
"I've got to go."
I dashed away and sat next to this nice looking guy with lighter hair and sparkling blue eyes.
"Hey," I laughed uncomfortably.
"Running away from Derek? That happens a lot."
I nodded and grinned at this guy. "Yeah, I bet it does, so what are you here for?"
"Don't worry, I'm not a rapist. I'm actually suicidal and I've been in quite a few fights, I'm Dylan by the way," he took out his hand and I shook it politely.
"I'm Maddy, I-" Dylan cut me off.
"Yeah I know you, the better and more improved people get televisions in their rooms."
I nodded and smiled at Dylan.
"Thank god for that, it gets annoying having to explain my story again and again!" I sighed and he chuckled.
We were ushered out separate ways and I waved goodbye to Dylan, and cringed when Derek looked my way.
When my head hit the pillow I fell asleep right away, dreaming of all of my best friends. The ones that were there from the start, and the newbies.
