(The stage design is set on a forest-like scene)

(There were grasses and trees with the sound of wild animals heard on the background, like for example, birds tweeting, hissing sound of snakes etc.)

(The light will focus on the face of Giselle emphasizing her expression of worry.)

The girl named Giselle is somehow lost in the forest where she cannot find her way home.

She was once reflecting on herself when she decided to go there but because she was out of herself, she found it difficult to go out.

Suddenly, a sound of the dried leaves scratched causing the lady to get scared without realizing she was stepping backwards. Afterwards, she accidentally stepped on a large root of a tree, big and rough.

Feeling the ache, not sure where. But one is for sure, she has scratches everywhere, bruises and a slight pain because her elbow bumped into another root.

The lady began to cry; teardrops were slowly falling pushing one drop from the other.

Giselle:
(her voice is evidently scared, stuttering)
I must be doomed.
I’m heartless, showing no mercy.

She thinks that because of her personality shown in public is the reason why she got lost.

The sound of the dried leaves scratching is continuously heard, seemingly walking towards her direction.

Giselle:
(silently praying)

Some prayers uttered coming from her mouth, whispering, begging.

The lady stood up immediately, forgetting about the pain. She cleared her mind, made sure that the only one who can help her up was nobody but her own.

Then she found herself doing the same thing again. She was currently walking backwards, feeling the mood, horrified when she saw a venomous snake, shockingly long and stout.

Its eyes were looking directly at her, examining Giselle. Looking at every single step made by her. Its mouth opened wide, she saw its venomous fang on left and right.

Giselle:
(speak without fear, nearly shouting)
I think this is my goodbye!!!

Unexpectedly, she heard a loud bang coming from a gunshot. She froze like a hard rock.

(The sound effect of a gun shooting)

Blood coming the snake continuously out.

(Fake blood rains)

Markus:
(cleared his throat for a second)
You are safe now.
I saved you, obviously.

Giselle slowly turned with round and round eyes.

Markus:
What can you –

Giselle cut him off. She speechlessly ran towards him and gave him a warm hug.

Markus:
Ahh... Ahhmm...

He stuttered while looking at the snake, slithering down. He noticed that it can still move so he decided to made again a shot. And while doing it, he felt Giselle’s hug tightened.

(The same sound effect of gunshot)

Giselle:
Well, thank you!

Giselle cried until the shirt of brave Markus became wet.

Markus hugged Giselle back, stepping on the dried leaves, seizing the moment of love and affection.

Markus then held Giselle’s hand, kissed it and uttered something so important.

Markus:
Never question my love for you
I will always be there for you no matter what
To care and protect you
To give all things that I can provide
Believe me, trust me.

Giselle:
I will, ‘til forever.

(Lights off as they raised their hands)

(Another love song played on the background)

(The curtains close meeting at the center)
