(The curtain opens)
(The spotlight focused on Giselle, now a 30-year-old woman)
Giselle Lambert-Sander was now a new character, different from the past where she was still pure. Her old aura was traced upon her face, already wrinkled and losing her confidently fierce personality.
But the one to blame was none other than her husband, Markus Sander. Markus became frustrated when he found out that his love, Giselle did not have the capability to give birth.
They tried to adopt but it’s no use, five years ago, Jack Sander – their adopted child, died because of leukemia despite giving all their efforts to cure, almost using all of the family’s money just to make him survive but it ended up useless.
Giselle:
(while hugging the picture of Jack)
I love you my son, you know that.
But until now, I can’t still get over
I really love you and I always will. She never noticed that doing it made her feel alone.
Markus:
Gotta go, hon.He kissed his wife but no more warmth felt between the two. On every day, it became casual for them.
Giselle:
(in a cold voice)
You should eat your breakfast.Markus:
No, I really have to go
I have so many office works to finish,
hope you understand.Giselle:
But, I cooked your favorite
It’s a buffalo wings, hon.Markus:
(he frowned and took a deep breath)
Can’t you understand?
I am rushing all my shits in life!!!Giselle:
Calm down!
I am not forcing you!Markus:
Is that what you call, ‘not forcing’?
You never did it the same way again!Giselle:
(she cries)
Sorry! I’m sorry, I really am.Markus left the house pissed off. Their love for each other faded like dust thrown under the rug, wasted.
(The beep sound effect as Markus trying to go out of the gate commanding their guard to open it)
