(Fade in)
The following night...
(The scene is set on an elegant restaurant, limited to elites)
(Few people were seen and mostly were the staff)
Giselle was amused by all the things she saw around. All were just new on her sight.
Staff 1:
Good evening Mr. and Mrs. Sander!Giselle:
Good evening!Staff 2:
This way please.Giselle:
Thank you, ladies! The two staffs led the way to the room where the parents of Markus Sander were currently waiting. From the side of the long table, another two staffs were seen, laughing.
Staff 3:
Have I heard it right?
She said, ‘good evening!’ and ‘thank you, ladies!’ (imitating how Giselle uttered it)Staff 4: Actually, I thought I was the only one who heard that thing.
Staff 3:
Are we just imagining things?
Tell me! Did she really say it!Staff 4:
Uhuh. (nodding)Staff 3:
Very unlike of an elite!
Well, is she an elite?Staff 4:
Well, here’s a rumor.Staff 3:
What?Staff 4:
I heard from a couple friend that her name is Giselle.Staff 3:
And? What’s the issue?Staff 4:
Her... surname... is... Lambert.Staff 3:
Oh? Is this true?
The Lamberts! The slaves of the town! What a bunch of gold-diggers!Staff 4:
Absolutely.Staff 3:
No doubt. They again laughed as hard as they could. Then, afterwards, they heard a sound of sandals bumping on the floor going towards where the two staffs were located.
Moments later, the two turned their sight on the way out of the door where the other two staffs escorted Mr. and Mrs. Sander.
Staff 3:
How was the guest tonight?
Haven’t you smelled the bunch of gold-diggers in the blood of that Giselle?Staff 2:
Honestly, I’m trying not to laugh earlier as I heard her saying ‘good evening and thank you ladies!’Staff 1:
Big deal?Staff 2:
Shut up!Staff 3:
What’s your problem, Helena?Staff 1:
A big problem, very big.
You three! Can’t you just be happy that our guest greets us despite of being an elite?Staff 4:
Correction, she’s not an elite.
She’s a social climber!Staff 2:
It is honestly a big deal!
Maharlikas don’t speak to staffs
Never ever!(The voices of the staffs echoed around the elegant restaurant)
