Adam drove Annabelle to a bush track.
"Why are we here?" She asked.
"We are going to walk the whole thing over and over again until school finishes." He said smiling.
She stared at him with a sad look on her face.
He laughed.
--)->
David watched Adam and Annabelle walk the track for the third time now.
Soon Adam would go and get his surprise picnic and present for her, and that's when he would attack.
She would be defenseless and he would kill her.
All he needed was another hunter like Demi to try and stop him.
Now Demi was going to be a lead.
He had to kill Annabelle before that happened because then he and his group would be in even more danger.
He could not let that happen.
--)->
After the fifth time Annabelle and Adam walked the track Adam went to go get his surprise for Annabelle.
About a minute later something jumped on her back and knocked her to the ground.
She screeched as David turned her around on the ground.
Then he extended his fangs and readied himself to cause great pain.
A second later Demi emerged from the bush behind David and shot him in the back with an arrow.
David fell to the ground next to Annabelle.
Demi walked toward them, threw David away from Annabelle and pulled her up.
"Get your stuff we are leaving."
Annabelle picked up her bag and walked away with her mother.
--)->
"Who was that?" Annabelle said as she walked in the door.
"His a vampire called David. We have come across him a couple of times."
"And you haven't killed him?"
"David is a very strong and deadly vampire who would kill you the second he got the chance."
There was a moment of silence.
"Finish packing your stuff now." Demi said.
"Why?" Said Annabelle.
"We are leaving tonight."
"What!?"
"You just got attacked by a vampire. If I wasn't there to protect you, you would be dead."
That sent a shiver down Annabelle's spine.
"Forget it I will pack your stuff for you."
"Can I tell my friends i'm leaving?"
"No. You can't. And you can't tell Adam either."
Annabelle went off in a huff.
When she got to her room she searched her bag but her phone wasn't there.
--)->
David was furious.
Why did Demi have to show up?
Of course she had been watching Annabelle like a hawk.
That's what she does.
If only she was young again, back to the age of 15.
Maybe she would love him still.
--)->
Annabelle carefully jumped out the window and landed gracefully.
She decided to walk to Adam's. Seeing he only lived two blocks up.
After ten minutes she started throwing rocks at his window.
About two minutes later he came to open the side gate for her.
"Hey. What happened earlier?"
"My mum must have followed us and when you left she got me and told me to leave."
"Well then. I officially hate her." He said smiling.
"Yeah me too. But officially was a long time back."
"You didn't get to see my surprise."
Then he took her hand, led her up the stairs very quietly so they wouldn't wake anyone up and walked her into his bed room.
She stood there open mouthed.
There were flowers all around the room.
There were candles that left a beautiful scent.
And there was a blanket laid on the ground along side a picnic basket.
"Slightly modifyed." Then he walked over to his chest of drawers and pulled out a small box.
He gave it to her and she looked at him as if to say 'are you kidding me?'
"Open it." He said.
She opened it and inside was a beautiful pendant.
Printed on it was a bow and arrow.
"I don't know why but whenever we walked by a jewelry shop I saw this, it reminds me of you."
"It's beautiful Adam. I love it." She said and a tear rolled down her cheek.
"What's wrong?" He wiped the tear from her cheek.
"Demi says we are leaving tomorrow morning."
"What!"
"Yeah." Then she started sobbing.
"Hey." He said. "How about we spend tonight together. One last time. Then you can sneak out in the morning about 3:00am."
She smiled still crying.
"I love you." She said. "I love you so much."
"I love you too." He said pulling her in for a hug.
Then they shared their last kiss... For now. :)
