Chapter 27

Annabelle awoke in a hospital bed.

Drew was by her side holding her hand.

"Hey." She said. "What happened?"

"I actually have no idea." He said. "Demi, Arrow and Marina came and told me you were injured and they were taking you to hospital."

"I saw Demi and Reno come in and then I blacked out. Is Demi here?"

"I am." Said Demi who was standing at the door. "Drew would we be able to privately?"

He nodded and exited the room.

"What happened after I past out?" Annabelle asked.

"David got away with Mimmy's body. We caught Dianna just in time and now she is in custody."

"What about Reno. Drew said Arrow Marina and you went to get him."

"Reno was killed by Dianna before we caught her."

Annabelle put her hand over her mouth.

"He asked me to give you this letter." Demi said handing a letter to Annabelle. "I understand if you want to be alone to read it, so I will leave."

Annabelle nodded. "What happened to me? How much was I injured?"

"It's just a concussion. They want to keep you here overnight and we will leave tomorrow morning."

"Ok."

Demi started for the door but stopped before she left. "Annabelle." She said.

"Yes?"

"I want to fix this. What did I do wrong to make you feel like this?"

"You gave me no choice."

"I know. But all parents do that. I thought you would get over it."

"It's hard to get over someone you love. I had to leave Adam."

"I know, but it was for the best. You met Drew."

"I know and thank you for giving me no choice. You might have made my life so much worse then, but it has made me a lot better now."

"I admire how much you have grown Annabelle. I want to work on this. I want to have the realtionship we used to have."

Annabelle smiled. "I would like to work on it aswell."

Demi smiled and then walked out the door.

Annabelle opened the letter and began to read.

Annabelle I have a few things to tell you.

I have some sort of ability that allows me to have preminitions.

I knew I was going to die and that Dianna was going to kill me.

The reason I am telling you this is that you will be going through something like this one day.

Why or how you may ask, well...

I am your father Annabelle.

I know this might sound crazy but it is true.

I would like you and Demi to rebuild your mother/daughter relationship and stay united because that is the most important thing right now.

I would also like you to stick by Marina and Arrow.

They are probably very confused and frightened at the moment because of Dianna so please stick by them.

Families need to stick together.

Annabelle closed the letter and put it away.

A tear rolled down her cheek and she wiped it away.

About a minute later Drew walked in.

"Hey." He said and when he saw Annabelle crying he said. "What's wrong."

He walked over to her and sat next to her on the bed.

She passed him the letter. "Read it."

He opened it up and read it.

When he was done he looked up at Annabelle. "Reno is your father?"

"Was my father."

When they got back to HHQ Annabelle gave Marina and Arrow a huge hug.

She told them that Reno was her father aswell and that he had had a special ability.

Then they walked over to the hall to have the memorial for Reno.

After the memorial was finished the remaining leads called a meeting with Annabelle, Arrow and Marina.

"Thank you girls for coming." Mayim said. "We understand you have all had a terrible loss but Arrow we have some news for you."

"What is it?" Arrow said with a worried look on her face.

"I am your mother."Mayim said. "Reno and I had a moment just like Demi and Reno. The other female lead that left is Dianna's mother."

"Oh my gosh." Arrow said.

"I would love to try a mother/daughter relationship with you, if that would be ok."

Arrow nodded and smiled.

"Does anyone know who my mother is?" Marina asked.

All the leads shook their heads.

"Annabelle, we have your first mission. If you aren't ready for it please let us know." Mitchell said taking Demi's hand in his own.

"I'm ready for it."

He passed the file he was holding across the table.

She read through it.

There is a vampire causing havoc at Albury New South Wales.

Your mission is to find him and capture him.

We need him captive for some answers about David and this is our best bet.

Description: Tall, very pale and short black hair.

Signed... Mitchel Brave.

She looked up from the paper.

Albury was her home town.

She had to go back to the place she lived before she became a hunter.

She just hoped to many memories didn't come flooding back.

Annabelle started to pack her stuff for Albury.

She was going for five days, hopefully that would be enough time to find this vampire.

She heard a knock on the door and went to open it.

Mitchell was at the door.

"Hello Annabelle." He said.

"Hi Mitchell. What  would you like?"

"I would like to talk to you about something."

"Come on in." She said holding the door open.

"Here's the thing. Your mother and I have had a relationship for the past couple of months and I think I would like to propose to her."

Annabelle smiled. "Why are you telling me first?"

"Because her father is dead and you are her only family left. So I am asking for your blessing for me to marry your mother."

"I give you my blessing." Annabelle said smiling.
