Epilogue

When they got back to HHQ Annabelle packed her stuff away in her dorm.

Now that Mimmy was gone she had no roommate.

She looked at the empty bed next to her and wondered what would happen to Mimmy.

She heard a knock on the door.

It was Drew.

He smiled when he saw her.

She pulled him in for a hug and a kiss.

"How was your first mission?" He asked.

"About that..."

"What happened?"

"Well I caught the vampire. But Adam was there."

"WHAT!?"

"He was walking the track and when he saw me he wouldn't let me go any where and then the vampire showed up..."

"Oh my god!" He exclaimed. "So where is he now?"

They both jumped when they heard a knock on the door.

Drew looked at Annabelle and she nodded.

He sighed as she went to answer the door.

It was Adam.

"Hey Annabelle." He said smiling.

When he saw Drew he looked at Annabelle with a confused look.

"Adam, this is my boyfriend Drew. Drew this is my ex boyfriend Adam."

There was a very awkward silence.

"Nice to meet you Drew." Adam said finally breaking the silence.

"You too. Annabelle I have to go and see Marina and Arrow about something I'll meet you at the peer later." Drew said and gave her a kiss on the cheek and left.

"So you have a boyfriend." Adam said.

Annabelle nodded.

"I have a meeting with the leads in about ten minutes. Want to walk me down there?"

Annabelle nodded.

Drew met Arrow and Marina in the hall.

"Hey Drew." Marina said.

"Hi Marina. Why did you and Arrow want me to come and see you?"

"We would like to talk to you about Annabelle." Arrow said.

"Ok..."

"We have recently found out that Annabelle is both of our half sisters." Marina said.

Drew nodded. "I am aware of this."

"We don't want her to be like Dianna though. We thought Dianna had a bond with us but she was obviously faking it all to be a vampire." Arrow said.

"We now know that Adam is back in the picture." Marina said. "If you don't stick by Annabelle and fight for her then she might end up like Dianna. So that is what we want you to do. Stick by her."

He nodded again. "I love Annabelle. I know Adam does too and if she chooses him I will continue to fight while respecting her choice. I want what's best for her."

"Good. Glad we have that settled." Arrow said.

Annabelle walked Adam to the meeting room where he had to face the leads.

She remembered how nervous she had felt when she was going through this and judging by the look on Adam's face, he was going through the same thing.

"Are you going to be ok?" She asked him.

He looked into her eyes. "If you are here, then yes."

She smiled.

"Could you answer one thing for me Annabelle?" He said.

"Sure."

"What does he have that I don't?"

"What?"

"You said you loved me. That you would never move on."

"Well did you move on?"

He was silent. Then said. "Not emotionally."

They were both silent then.

"I love you Annabelle." He said. "And I won't stop till you be with me."

Then he pulled her into a kiss.

She didn't struggle or try to pull away.

She just stood there and enjoyed the familiarality of the kiss.

Then finally she pulled away.

"Good luck with the meeting." She said and then walked off to the peer to meet Drew.

Drew was already at the peer when Annabelle arrived.

"Hi." He said and took her hand.

She smiled and embraced him.

They both walked to the edge of the peer and sat down letting their feet dangle in the water.

"What did Marina and Arrow have to say?"

Drew smiled at her. "Nothing."

She smiled back.

"What are we going to do now? The system is breaking down. They need to find another lead. We need to find Mimmy and David."

He put a finger to her lips to shush her. "We will deal with it tomorrow. Right now lets just enjoy each others company."

Annabelle smiled one last time and then kissed Drew.

The kiss was different to Adam's.

Adam's was familiar but Drew's was new and exciting.

They pulled away from each other.

Then they snuggled up together and watched the sun go down.
