Chapter 12

The next morning Annabelle snuck in through the window hoping not to wake her mother but as soon as she got through the window the light was turned on.

Demi put her hands on her hips and glared at Annabelle.

"Who did you tell?"

"I told Adam I was leaving, that's all."

"Good."

Annabelle looked around her room and nothing was there.

"How am I suppose to sleep?" She asked.

"You will sleep in the car. We are leaving now."

Then Demi took Annabelle's arm and dragged her to the car.

It took them three hours to get to the airport in Sydney, then an hour and a half to get to Hobart.

When they got there they were greeted by some hunters.

"Annabelle, this is Reno Moore, Alexander Lurer, Mitchell Brave, Mayim Paul, Marina Moore, Arrow Moore and Dianna Moore." Demi said pointing to each of them.

She had recognised most of them from Demi's journal.

They were the leads.

"These are Reno's daughters."

"Nice to meet you." Said Arrow with a friendly look on her face.

Annabelle looked away.

It was all she could do not to cry. Adam was her life she loved him so much and now she had left him.

"How old are you?" Marina asked.

"Fifteen."

She smiled. "I was your age to when I found out, it's tough huh?"

Annabelle nodded and smiled.

Then Demi shot her a death stare.

Annabelle shrugged and got her bags.

"Come on this way." Marina said.

When they got to the Hunters Head Quarters (HHQ) Alexander grabbed her stuff and was on her way.

Now that Demi was here Alexander was leaving.

"Ok lets get this over with shall we?" Reno said.

A few minutes later the leads esembled at the table and Annabelle sat across from them.

"Well." Mayim said. "We already know you are guilty of knowledge, so lets skip straight to your options."

"Demi, we have recently added a new option into the mix." Mitchell said.

"Really? What is it?"

"Well for the option of not becoming a hunter in training death is now not the only option. We have decided that an easier way to get more werewolfs and vampires for trials is we could turn some that say to to death and still don't want to become a hunter." Said Reno.

"That is a good idea, so death or soon to be death. I love it." Demi said.

"Ok, so Annabelle. Your options are: a) you will become a hunter in training for four years then face trials and become a hunter. b) Death or c) transition and soon to be death." Mayim said.

Annabelle was stunned. Why were they so straight to the point?

She had to think about this for a minute.

She wasn't prepared to die for a long time.

"I will be a hunter in training."

"Well than we're done here." Said Reno. "I'm looking forward to seeing Annabelle train."
