Woo Jin sat alone on the bus. He'd been officially kicked out of the house by his parents and Jun Keum the housekeeper. It wasn't as bad as it sounded. His parents had been home for a full week but were about to leave that morning for another four days. They encouraged him to get out and play with friends instead of seeing them off. Jun Keum was a little more direct and decided for Woo Jin that he was not allowed to stay home and needed to get out for the day. Enjoy the Saturday she said. After a little thought, Woo Jin decided instead of friends he'd rather see his brother. It had been a while since he had been to his brother's apartment. He was long overdue for a visit.

His older brother by nearly ten years was what every Korean parent dreamed of. A doctor who graduated mid to top of his class, with a job right out of college working at the hospital. A long term smart and talented girlfriend that he was planning to marry in the next few years. A perfect son for parents who did not demand such goals. His rise had been all self-motivated. When he moved out, his parents only asked two favors, that he visit often, and that he did not move too far away. Which made Woo Jin's trip a short one.

Woo Jin rang the bell three times before his brother answered. Luckily his perfectness did not extend to all aspect of his life, or Woo Jin would never live up to his brother. Woo Sung stood in the door, his gray sweats stained with last night's dinner or even the last three nights. His hair poked out in 5 different directions. His face looked as if it hadn't seen a washcloth in a week. All of this to say his brother was a complete slob.

"Woo Jin?" His brother scratched his head. Which only moved his hair to point in other directions.

"Woo Sung."

"Woo Jin?" His brother switched from scratching his head to scratching his stomach around one of the stains.

"Woo Sung."

"Woo..."

"Yes, it's me. Can we stop? I am assuming you did not get my texts about coming over this morning."

"Ah no, I missed them. What's going on? Something wrong?"

"I've been kicked out."

"What?" Woo Sung's voice raised an octave.

"For the morning. I've been kicked out for the morning. If you'd read my texts, you'd know. So do you plan to invite me in?"

"Well, it's kind of a mess in here."

"When isn't it?" Woo Jin followed Woo Sung inside. "You know you are going to have to get over this habit once you get married. I don't think Hei Ran will put up with this."

"Why do you think we're waiting to get married. She's already told me so. I just need another year at the hospital to get my salary up more, and then I am hiring a maid. I miss Jun Keum cleaning up after me."

"You know even she would lecture you about this. That even this is too much for a maid to maintain."

"I know, I know. I need to get better. Did you come over here just to lecture me? If you were kicked out don't you have somewhere better to go?"

"Not really." Woo Jin moved aside a large stack of dirty clothing from the couch to the floor. While the couch didn't didn't look completely appealing as a place to sit, it was still better than the floor. Woo Jin curled himself into a ball touching as little as possible.

"So you came to harass me with nothing better to do?"

"Actually I came to invite you out." Woo Jin jumped off the couch, his skin crawling from where ever it had come into contact with the fabric.

"You just want out of this house."

"That too. So go find some decent clothes and let's get lunch. Please." Woo Sung went to ruffle his hair, but Woo Jin stepped back out of his reach. "No, I take that back. Shower first, then decent clothes."
