"I cannot believe you disposed of those vampires without me. You know how I love to set things on fire!" Rebekah pouts looking out the window.

"Was he supposed to leave them in the front yard to rot?" I question sitting up on the desk I am laying on as Nik sits next to me in the chair.

"Besides, they were my responsibility. They attacked the helpless pregnant girl who's carrying my child!" Nik defends himself more.

"One, Elisha you weren't even here," Rebekah says to me and I shrug, "two, I am so moved by your new-found sense of fatherly duties towards the werewolf carrying your hybrid bun in her oven."

Hayley then walks into the foyer somewhat demanding, "the werewolf would like to know what the plan is."

"Well, that depends what plan you mean, love- my plan for global domination, Elisha's plan to drain anyone of blood that does not give her the answers she is looking for to get her father back or Rebekah's plan to find love in a cruel, cruel world?" when Nik mentions my plan I smile innocently and wave before Rebekah quickly throws a pencil at Nik's face when he makes fun of her which making me laugh.

"The actual plan to rescue Elijah. You know, the good brother? The one who is now in the possession of your mortal enemy after you stabbed him in the back?" Hayley sighs before saying this.

"I'm pretty sure my uncle would have handed my father over in his coffin," I say.

"So in the front, if we are being specific," Nik smiles.

"You three said that you would get him back. So is there a plan, or what?" annoyance is clear in Hayley's voice which makes me smile slightly.

"Okay. Well, firstly, Marcel is not his mortal enemy- he's Nik's friend. Albeit one who is unaware that my uncle's trying to sabotage his hold over the supernatural community of the French Quarter, but a friend nonetheless," I steal the words right from Nik's mouth causing him to hit my thigh.

"And secondly, I daggered Elijah in order to gain Marcel's trust. If I had known he would place my brother in the hands of a particularly nasty teenage witch, I certainly would have weighed my options a bit differently. And thirdly," he pauses as he turns to Rebekah and gestures for her to speak, "Sister, please."

"And thirdly, the plan, as you have demanded, is for Niklaus to simply ask Marcel for Elijah back," Rebekah says.

"That's...that's not the whole plan, is it?" Hayley says almost worried.

This causes Rebekah to scoff, "Please! Klaus may be a miserable excuse for a sibling, but there is none more diabolical."

"And that's only Plan A, love! There's always a Plan B," Nik is clearly smiling.

"And what's plan B," I could hear the nervousness in her voice.

"Well take his plan for world domination and my plan to get my father back but make it specifically about the Quarter," I receive a confused look from the little wolf making me sigh.

"War," my uncle says and it seems to sink into her head this time.

"A war that I hope to participate in if it comes down to it," Caun says walking into the room with a smile, "Elisha can I have a word?" I nod getting off the desk and walking over to my brother as he leads me up to his room where I see Zoie laying on the bed. My brother motions for a sound barrier to be put up and I do, "are we good?" I nod motioning for him to explain, "so you know how Zoie and I have been together for the past couple years right?" I nod to this, "well," he stops for a second, "just listen," he motions over to Zoie and I listen hearing a heartbeat but it's not Zoie's, "I think what happened with Klaus and Hayley is happening with us," Caun says with a smile. I'm shocked as I continue to listen to the heartbeat feeling the pull to the child, more so than with Hayley. I feel like I should be protecting this child from everything, almost like I should be the one carrying this child, not Zoie.
