Chapter 5: Thayne freaks out

~Lin's POV~

I kissed him, it was a kiss full of love, passion, it wasn't like the other kisses during his birthday, no, this one was different. After a while Renee and Chris left and it was just the two of us. I sat on a chair and he just stood there smiling

"Come here" i told him opening up my arms calling for him, he came closer and i pulled him so that he was sitting on my lap and wrapped my arms around his waist and he wrapped his arms slightly around my neck

"Thank you" i told him

"For what?" He asked me

"For saying yes" i told him

"Why wouldn't I? I mean I've always liked you, and i kinda thought i made it a little bit obvious..." he told me

"You see, even if you did make obvious, i wouldn't know, i am TERRIBLE at looking at signs of anyone liking me" i told him

"Can i ask you something?" I asked

"Anything" he answered

"Since when do you like me?" I asked him

"Ummm.... well I thought you were amazingly hot and really cute when i met you to do the heights cool musical two ad, and as our friendship kept going I started falling for you, I think it was in.. 2010 maybe..? That i realized there was no turning back to what my heart chose" he told me and then smiled

"Wow, I-I really wish that i had known earlier, i mean if you told me I wouldn't even have asked Vanessa out, I would've asked YOU out. I-i made you see how i dated Vanessa, and this probably hurt you... I'm sorry" i felt bad that moment, I've always liked him and I really would've asked him out if he told me, I wouldn't have dated Vanessa.

"It's fine. Really. I mean it did hurt a bit, and I actually thought you were straight so i never mentioned anything because it would have made things awkward, and if I wasn't going to have you as my boyfriend, then at least I wanted to have you as a friend, I didn't wanna lose you, that's why I didn't say anything" he told me as he looked down at his shirt

"Well but let's not talk about sad stuff, we're together now and that's what matters" I told him grabbing his hand locking our fingers together

"Yup, should we just tell everyone now? If Renee and Chris didn't already say something" he told me as he giggled

"Yeah, let's see if they said anything yet" i told him, we were still holding hands when we got to the door, then he stopped walking and talked

"If they haven't said anything, let's let them figure it out, giving them hints, small ones" he said with a smile drawn on his face

"You a player, but ok, sounds fun, let's go see" i told him, we stopped holding hands as we got to the room where the whole cast usually hangs out

"Hey Lin, how did it go? I heard Vanessa was here, should've told me, I would've thrown hands" Pippa told me

"Thanks Pippa, but didn't Renee or Chris say how it went?" I asked

"No, they don't wanna say anything... Did you get back with her!?" Pippa asked me getting mad

"Omg No! I wouldn't do that" i told her sitting down, groff moved to the back of the chair and placed his hands on my shoulders

"Good, I didn't like her, in fact i dislike her even MORE now" pippa said

"Anyways, i need anyone to tell me something. Tonight I'll babysit my niece, and i have no idea how to do it... helpp" Anthony told us all

"Just imagine you are taking take of a living granade, be careful or you'll make her explode, aand you don't wanna do that" groff told him as he played with my hair

"That's the scary part!" Anthony implied

"Well then i can only wish you good luck" groff told him putting his hands on my neck and cheeks, playing with my earlobe

"Just imagine it's your daughter!" Chris told him

"How!? Guys, if I don't come back tomorrow, you know something went wrong tonight" Tony said

"Groff, you want a chair?" Oak asked

"Yeah! That'd be good" he said as oak passed a chair for groff, he sat down and grabbed my hand and started playing with it. By now I still can't believe no one has said anything yet!

"So, what are your guys' plan tonight" Jazz asked

"Eat" daveed said very sure

"Is that the only thing you do other than rapping"
Leslie asked and made everyone laugh

"Well, you see, many prople live eat to live, I don't. I LIVE to eat, in the specific order" he said, groff by now was still playing with my hands and i was going along moving my finger as if they were having a little dance battle with Jonathan's, IT WAS THEN that someone noticed

"OK! This has been going on for A WHILE NOW, and no one has noticed?" Thayne mentioned

"What are you talking about cookie boy" oak asked him

"Look at groff and Lin's hands! And before that groff was playing with Lin's earlobe, AND his hair! AND his back!!" He told everyone

"But it's just Jonathan, he eould do something like that, ibthink you're over reacting" Pippa told him

"Mhm, sure" he said sarcastically. Me and Groff let out a light laugh without anyone noticing

"Anyways, for how long are you babysitting tony?" Jazz asked Anthony

"From 8pm to 12:30pm" he answered, groff in that moment just basically gave no fuck and locked our hands together, i just saw Thayne look at our hands and his eyes got huge
"Omg! Ok! No! This is no! How are y'all not seeing it!?" He telled

"See what thayne?" Groff asked him

"Aahh! Your hands! You are holding hands!" Thayne yelled

"So?" I asked him
"I cannot do this, nope. nope" he said freaking out it made me, groff and renee laugh, she knew what we were doing

"Why were you asking for how long i was gonna babysit tho?" Tony asked Jazz

"I dunno, maybe I could come around and help you out" she said

"Oooooh, that smells like date to me" oak mentioned, groff was really going for it, he laid his head on my shoulder and i rested mine on his head and just to give it out, I wrapped my arms around him, a couple eyes got huge in surprise, and these faces had either a smile or a surprised expression. This is really fun.
