Chapter 10: Vanessa!?

~Lin's POV~

Ok, so i took Groff to this restaurant that has a really nice view to the hudson, it was amazing, he looked angelic. His eyes were sparkling under the moonlight, and he was radiating happiness. We ordered our food and ate, he then went to the bathroom while i waited for the check. Then someone wraps a pair of arms around my neck gently, at first i thought it was Groff, but then i saw it was a girl's arms. I quickly turned and saw who it was, but as soon as i turned my head to look the girl's lips were smashed against mine. What the hell is going on. I quickly broke apart to see Vanessa standing there smiling, wearing a red dress that maybe showed a little bit too much and from far away from where the restroom sign is i saw Groff looking at her. He looked annoyed at the sight of her but stayed there to see what happens.

"Vanessa what are you doing here?" I ask in the most calmed way trying not to lose my temper and yell at her.

"I just wanted to talk to you..." vanessa said as she sat down

"There's nothing to talk about between us, so if you could leave that would be amazing" i said looking at her with no expression on my face

"It'll be quick i promise" she told me

"Hurry, I don't have time" i said rolling my eyes

"Look, I'm really sorry about everything... i was really dumb when i let you go, i love you Lin... i was just really jealous for nothing, but you're not really in love with groff are you?" She asked me

"Yes, I am actually, I've always been. That's why I "listened to the internet" or didn't mind when groff kissed me on his birthday, and you can't do anything about it, now leave" i answered

"Lin, you're making a mistake" she said getting mad

"Just LEAVE! I don't wanna see you. AT ALL! Just... LEAVE. You have done enough!" I say now yelling a bit more.

"You'll regret this Lin!" She said as she stood up "but. Before i leave..." she said and then smashed her lips against mine and basically grabbed my hands and sat on my lap so i wasn't able to move or back away from the make out. I wanted this to end but she would not let me. She finally let go and stood up and left. Groff looked pissed. I don't know if at me or vanessa.

"Why did you stand there?? You should've come and help me.." i ask him

"Can you take me to my place...?" He said mad

"Are you ok?" I ask concerned

"Just take me to my place, I'll pay for my order" he told me as he grabbed his stuff

"What? No, I'll pay, are you mad? What's wrong? Is it because vanessa was here?" I ask

"JUST TAKE ME AND STOP ASKING" he said. I nodded and we got to the car after i paid. The whole ride was quiet. Why was he so mad? Did i do something?

"Groff can you please tell me why are you mad at me, please" i ask as i pull over in a random street

"Why did you stop?" He asked ignoring my question

"What did i do to upset you? Please tell me.." i said as my voice started to crack. He looked at me annoyed

"Lin, you literally had a make out session with Vanessa" he answered.

"What? Yes but she forced it, i didn't start it" i say in defense

"She 'forced' it!? Because i didn't even saw you tried to get away from her mouth! So maybe you didn't start it but you went along!" He said kinda yelling

"Groff it wasn't like that, she grabbed my hands and put them behind me and literally sat in my lap so I couldn't get away from her, i WAS trying to get away from her, I really was. Please don't be mad at me.." i say, he ignored me

"You don't trust me..?" I asked getting quite mad at hus lack of trust in me

"Oh. My. God!" I said bringing my hand up to me head, but as soon as I raised my hand groff flinched and covered his face. I was confused. Why did he cover his face? Wait! Omfg i swear I'm gonna find his ex and make him suffer. I know why he covered his face. I remember he was dating a guy a while ago and the guy has anger problems and was aggressive with groff. One day he got to the theater with a bruise on the left side of his face and a cut on the cheekbone, he said he had fell when they went ice skating the night prior but i knew it was that guy. Omg! He was that abusive with him?

"Omg, Groff I'm sorry, I wasn't gonna do anything to you, don't cover your face! I know why you did it. But look at me..." i said softly grabbing his chin so he could look at me "... I would NEVER hurt you. Or cheat on you. NEVER!" I said as I wrapped my arms around him. When I did he started sobbing on my shoulder and saying a million "I'm sorry"

"It's ok, don't be sorry, you didn't do anything wrong. It's ok." I say rubbing his back to calm him down a bit.

"I didn't know your ex was so mean to you. Why didn't you tell me?" I ask him

"I was scared of saying anything, that's why i was also scared when i broke up with him..." he answered wiping his tears away

"I just want you to know i will NEVER hurt you or put my hands on you on any aggressive way. NEVER!" I say cupping his face with my hands and planting a small kiss on his lips and one on the forehead

"I need to show you something..." he told me and i just nodded, he took of his jacket and rolled up his sleeves to show me his arms, w/o seeing anything i knew what he was about to show me. I was right, he showed me a closer look to his arms full of scars, he has so many on each arm. A tear fell down my face.

"Jonathan... baby...why did you not tell me? I could've done something to help you!" I say holding back another tear, he was just quiet crying

"I was just too embarrassed to talk to anyone about this..." he answered

"Omg, please don't do this again. Please. Omg look at your arms! You have so many..." i say as i grab his arms and start laying kisses in them

"Please don't do it again... please..." i say on the verge of crying

"I won't, I promise" he said and i hugged him again

"Do you wanna go to my place? We can watch movies together if you're not mad at me..." i say and let out a weak smile in hope he would say he was not mad

"Yes, but can i borrow a shirt and hoodie tomorrow, i hae no clothes at your place" he said. I smile and nodd. I then start the car and drive to my place. We got there and started watching movies on my sofa. It was the best thing ever. He was wearing a pair if pajama pants he has left in my house a while ago and i forgot to give ut back to him. We watched movies and cuddled most of the time. I really love this man. I really do.
