"how cliche is this movie? they bump into each other in the hall, they're suddenly in the same class, they become lab partners and they talk everyday to work on their project, and then they get close and fall in love and BAM!" mingying slammed the table with her fist, startling yedam.

"you don't need to be so dramatic and in your feels like that..." he said, finishing the rest of the popcorn bowl. "you like the romance stuff don't you?"

"yeah but then it's hard to experience it when EVERY BOY IN OUR SCHOOL IS TAKEN!" she said, yelling the last few words.

"hey i'm not," yedam said, smiling while holding up the peace sign. "you're like lucky because you got the whole package here." he said, implying to himself.

"okay, i know we play flirt because we both don't like each other in that sense but yedam, stop yourself right now."

"you said it yourself! we do play flirt with words... so why don't we try making an effort physically?" yedam got up from the chair, and immediately began thinking about ideas.

"ummm... i know! how about no?!" she says, taking the popcorn bowl from yedam and putting it in the sink.

"why? it's a good april fools joke." he shrugged, following her to the kitchen.

"yedam," she paused, turning to face him while washing the bowl. "it's NOT april, it's june already."

"okay but still, it's a fun way to joke around and trick our friend group at school! let's do it please?" he says, shaking her body. "you're a good actor mingying, your whole family is actors and actresses!"

"that was just a joke when i told you that but yeah, and??"

"and that means you can improvise easily and go with the flow!" yedam exclaims. "cmon do this just to prank the rest of them!"

"...fine. just so you'll stop bothering me." she finishes washing dishes and walks yedam to the door.

"oh my god, this will be super funny. i'll see you tomorrow at school— or wait, i'll pick you up tomorrow!" he winked after his sentence.

"first of all, why did you wink? ew." mingying said disgusted but still laughed. "second of all, we go to school together all the time anyways!"

"yeah yeah, i know i'm just excited. okay bye!" he finally left her house and she closed the door with a big sigh.
