"chaeyoung!" jeongwoo calls for my name, and i finally come back to reality.

"huh?" i say as i snap out of it.

"well... i caught you staring at haruto for a long time, are you good?" he chuckled. "looks like somethings bothering you."

i let out a sigh as i finally had the courage to talk about my true feelings with a friend. "hey jeongwoo, can i ask you something?" i asked as we were having a small break in class.

"yeah, what is it?" he came over to my side, and i began to talk to him casually.

"did you ever.. necessarily feel a certain way about your girl best friend one time?"

"no chaeyoung, i do not have experience with falling in love if that's what you really want to ask me." jeongwoo laughed.

"but one thing i can say is.. i definitely think you are slowly falling in love with your best friend." he added. "i don't even have to know about love, i can just see by the way you look at him."

"what is love anyways?" i asked. "though i watch kdramas, i feel like i don't really know what it's like since i never experienced it."

"well...." jeongwoo says. "if haruto was to give you a hug right now, how would you feel?"

i stayed still not knowing how i would feel. suddenly, jeongwoo gives me a hug and i hug back regardless of not knowing the context of it.

"you didn't feel nervous or anything when i hugged you right?" he asked and i shook my head. "because it felt like a sibling hug."

"haruto!" jeongwoo called as he paused what he was doing with our other classmates to turn his attention towards us. "come here."

without hesitation, he came towards us and i was getting nervous all of a sudden, even though its my best friend. i was confused with what jeongwoo is trying to do as well.

"hug chaeyoung for me." jeongwoo simply says. "no questions right? she's your best friend anyways."

"oh alright." haruto said casually with slight hesitation, but he does it anyways and gives me a side hug.
