zion: come over
amira: maybe later i have a headache
I lock my phone and lay back down on my bed (fyi their is like a 2 week time skip)
My phone starts buzzing, i see Viv's name.
"Hi bitch," i say
"Amira what the hell you never text me anymore," she yells
"Sorry," i laugh
"I saw you and Zion are good," she says
"Yeah,"
"Does Lucas know?"
"Some what,"
"What does that mean?"
"He knows some things and not others,"
"Amira what does he not know?" she scoffs
"Nothing," i lie
"If you say yes to this question i am about to ask i will beat your ass," she says, "Did ya'll fuck?"
It goes silent. I have tried so many times to just forget about it, by avoiding Zion, but its not easy.
"Amira," she says
"yeah," i say
"you still love him,"
"yeah,"
"Are you gonna tell Lucas?"
"yeah soon,"
"Its obvious you want Zion, does he know that?"
"Zion does but i have been avoiding him lately because i feel so bad," i say
"You need to tell Lucas this," she says
"I will,"
"No today,"
"Viv its not that fucking easy,"
"Your right and i am sorry but if i was Lucas i would want to know,"
"Okay i will,"
I hang up and text Lucas.
amira: we need to talk come over?
lucas: yeah baby everything okay?
amira: just come over
lucas: okay
I pace my living room nervously until he comes. I hear the door open and Lucas walks in. He walks over to me kisses me on the cheek.
"Hey," i smile
"Hi everything okay?" he asks
I shake my head and sit on the couch.
"Woah babe," he runs over to me and wraps his arms around me
"I am sorry," i cry
"No its okay," he whispers rubbing my back
"No Lucas,"
"What," he says looking me in the eye
"I slept with Zion," i hesitate to say
He stands up and puts his arms over his head
"When?" he asks
"The night you went to Jay's,"
He walks around.
"I am sorry,"
"Amira are you still in love with Zion?" he asks, "Don't lie,"
I nod and he huffs
"Why Amira he hurt you," he pleads
"I can't just stop loving someone like that,"
"I um- am gonna go," he nods grabbing his stuff
"I am sorry," i say
"Amira i can't be with someone who is in love with someone else," he nods
I nod and he walks out the door. I feel the tears stream down my face. I walk to the bathroom and look at myself. I fucked up, i fucked up something good for myself. I feel tightness, and something in the back of my throat, i run to the toilet and throw up. When i finish i sit back and take a deep breath. I grab my phone and text Viv
amira: its over
viv: awe babe i am so sorry
amira: thanks
zion: damn just let me know
Zion, the last person i wanted to see right now.
viv: i am coming over
amira: ok
i stand up and splash some water on my face, then brush my teeth. I walk to my room and put on sweats and a sweatshirt. I hear my door open, and i see Viv's face.
"Hey," she smiles hugging me
I feel tense but i hug back.
"Lets get your mind somewhere else, i have mac- cheese and chicken nuggets,"
I smile.
"Okay here," she hands me some food
"Thanks Viv," i smile lightly
I take a bite of mac cheese and i feel sick to my stumach, i run to the bathroom and throw up again.
"Are you okay?" Viv walks in
"Yeah i dont know what the fuck happened but that mac cheese is bad," i huff
"It taste fine to me,"
She puts her hand on my head
"Your not hot," she says
"I dont know," i shrug
She stares at me and then looks away.
"Did you and Zion use a condom?" she says looking down
"I think," i nod
"I'll be back,"
She disappears out the front door. Their is no way i am pregnant, Zion is smarter than that.
I sit on the floor until she gets back.
"Here," she hands me a bag
I open it and see a box of pregnancy tests.
"Viv im not," i say handing it back
"It doesnt hurt to try," she says
I huff and stand up, open one and pee on it. She sets a 5 minute alarm. I start to feel a little nervous.
"Okay i am scared," i say shaking my leg
She wraps her arms around me, until the alarm goes off. I grab the test and flip it over. I feel a rush over my body.
