"Amira," Viv says, "Lemme see,"
I flip the test over and i see the double lines.
"Let me have the other one," i spit
I grab the next test and pee on it. I wait five minutes.
"No," i yell throwing the test on the ground. Viv picks them up and looks at them.
She takes a breath and sets them back down.
"Why," i say, i could feel the tears in my eyes.
"Its gonna be okay," she says wrapping her arms around me.
"No," i cry falling to the ground, "Why me,"
I felt her arms around me, i lean into her chest and let the tears fall.
"What am i supposed to do?" i sob, "I can't tell Zion, i can't do this,"
"Yes you can Mira, you can and i will be here for you,"
I stop crying and let myself fall asleep.
I wake up and look around, i sit up and grab my phone. Then everything hit me, i was actually pregnant and their is nothing i can do about it.
zion: r u coming over?
zion: hello?
zion: amiraaaaaaaaaa
I go to Instagram and look at Lucas's page, everything is gone, everyone one of our pictures together gone. People eventually will find out and i will be fucked.
viv: hey amira how are you?
amira: okish
viv: i will come see you after work
amira: i just want to be alone but thanks
viv: are you sure?
amira: yeah
I set my phone beside me, i walk to the kitchen and grab a bottle of water. I hear my phone ring, i walk over and see Brandon's contact across my screen.
"Hello," i say
"Hey," he yawns
"What's up," i say
"Not much i was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall with us," he asks
"Maybe another day,"
"Okay,"
I hang up without saying goodbye. I crawl into bed and start crying again, eventually falling asleep.
"Amira," i hear someone say
I open my eyes and see Zion standing above me. I jolt and sit up.
"Yeah," i yawn
"Are you okay?" he asks
"Yeah why?" i ask
"I saw you and Lucas broke up," he says
I nod.
"I am sorry," he says, "Can i ask why?"
"Oh yeah uh it was mutual," i lie
Their is no way in hell i am telling him we broke up because of him.
"Oh," he nods
I felt a tightness in my stomach, i get up and run to the bathroom, i lean over the toilet and throw up. I hear Zions footsteps.
"Woah Mira are you okay?" he asks leaning down beside me
"Yeah just the flu," i nod
He nods and looks and looks me in the eyes for a few seconds.
"Your lieing, " he smiles
"No," i say
I feel my self get nervous, and shaky
"Yeah, dont forget i have know you for 3 years," he laughs, "So whats wrong,"
I look at him then down at the floor, i can feel the tears stinging my eyes.
"I um need to tell you um something," i whisper
"Okay," he scoffs
"So lately i havent been feeling well so Viv had me take some um tests," i say as tears slowly roll down my face
"What kind of test?"
"Pregnancy test,"
The tears start to stream down my face.
"And," he whispers
"They were positive," i sob
He stands up and puts his hands on his head.
I pull my legs to my chest and cry.
