Anais' POV
I woke up from the sound of my alarm, ringing loudly inside my room. I instantly got up, stretching my arms and limbs and I heard my bones were cracking too. I immediately took a warm shower and dressed myself. I wore a gray off-shoulder sweater, black pants, and a pair of timberland boots.
"Honey, what's the hurry?" she asked as she placed a bowl of cereal on the table.
"Uh nothing," I lied and sat down. I quickly ate my breakfast and sprinted to my car, leaving my mom more confused.
I can't wait to see him- ah I mean I can't wait to ask and confront him! What the hell am I thinking? I shook my head and drove off to school.
I parked my car and hurriedly walked to my classroom. I saw Lily sitting on my chair along with her minions. Can't my morning be peaceful and nice? Ughhh this asshead just won't leave me alone.
"Good morning Addington. Did you have a good sleep last night?" she teasingly asked and giggled.
"Yes I did. I also had a great morning not until I saw your face," I retorted and smiled.
"Haha, what a weak comeback," she laughed and rolled her eyes.
"Actually, I don't want to give my full attention to you because you might come crying to your dad so I better make short replies," I smiled again to piss her off which made her roll her eyes.
I stared at her with a stern face, giving her a warning not to get in my way. She just giggled and rested her chin on her palm. Spencer, one of the school jocks kept on booing and mocking me. I turned to glare at him which took him aback.
"Addington, I have something to ask you," she asked, emphasizing each word for everyone to hear. I just stared at her with no interest and tried to shove her away from my chair.
"Back at the parking lot," she started which made me pause for a moment. "A lot of weird things happened that day. You even disappeared in a blink. Now tell me, how did you do that?" she asked and moved closer for us to be face to face.
I replied nothing and kept on staring at her. One of her minions pushed me and said, "She's asking so answer you lowly weed."
I laughed out loud and turned my attention to her. "Lowly weed? Seriously?" I asked and clapped my hands for effects. "What's your parents' job by the way? And what is my mom's job? What company do we hold? Before you talk, make sure you won't be humiliated okay?" I replied and smiled at her sarcastically which made her grit her teeth in frustration.
"Eyes on me Addington!" Lily demanded and put her hands on her hip. This brat just clearly wanted everybody's attention to embarrass me. "How can you explain what happened back there? Are you even normal? Or are you in a cult?" she asked exasperatedly making everyone laugh and look at me with disgust.
"Why are you asking me when I should be the one asking you that?" I raised a brow and smirked at her. Ha! You really want a showdown? Then I'll give you what you want. I'll be very honored to do it. "I'm confused about it too! I was just there and in a just a mere second, I disappeared out of the blue! Why did something like that happen? Aren't you the one responsible for it?" I asked, backfiring her her questions. I always fail to warn them that no one should ever dare to mess with me.
All eyes turned to her, making her step back. She clenched her fists and gritted her teeth. Now you all know why she always loses out of every fight we have. She easily gets pissed haha!
"This time, you have to explain yourself Bellmore," I raised my brows and I saw her gripping her skirt in anger.
"I-I don't have t-to explain anything," she stuttered and tried to defend herself. This girl never learns her lesson at all and I pity her for that. Boo hoo!
