Louis walked down the hallways, over the school yard and into the school building with fast, angry strides. His feelings were a hurricane of fury, sadness, anger, self-pity and self-hatred.

This was all his fault. If he would not have been together with that deceiving excuse of a girl called Eleanor, Niall and Harry would have not grown that close. And if he would have realized his feelings earlier, and if he would have told Harry...

Maybe nothing would have been different. Maybe Harry would have still chosen the perfect Niall, who never said the wrong things and always knew what to do, over Louis. Stupid, fat, loud, annoying Louis.

He needed Liam right now. That is why he was walking to the school building in the evening at five fifty-five in the first place. He went into the study room, scanning it for Liam before stomping over to him. He tapped his shoulder and Liam looked up. Seeing Louis' blood shot eyes, he immediately got up, whispering, "What happened?"

Louis followed Liam outside the quiet study room. The brown eyed went to go to their room, but Louis held him back. "Let's go to the common room."

"Why?" Liam asked, but obeyed, turning to the one-room-building that was their cozy common room.

"Niall and Hazza are there." Louis said, his voice dripping with sadness and disappointment.

"So?" Liam said. Louis shrugged, not wanting to say it yet because he knew he would start to cry if he did.

They reached the common room, entered, and looked for an empty corner. Finding one, Liam plopped down onto one of these huge pillows. To his surprise, instead of sitting opposite of him, Louis almost sat on top of him, throwing his legs over Liam's and cuddling into his chest.

It was weird for Liam. Firstly, because Liam was not generally a very touchy person, and secondly because the only person Liam had seen Louis with in this position was Harry. But it was obvious that Louis was upset so he indulged him.

"So what happened?" Liam asked softly, immediately regretting it when Louis started to shake with sobs. "Shh, shhh. It will be fine, Lou. Everything will be fine." He tried his best to comfort him but he was not the best with these social things.

After a few minutes, Louis had calmed down enough to say shakily and quietly, "I wanted tell him, Li. I finally got the courage to tell him."

"Hmm." Liam hummed and petted his head. "And Harry said he doesn't feel the same?" he tried to understand.

"Obviously not." Louis wiped his eyes furiously. "He's dating Niall."

Liam's and stilled in his hair. "What?" He thought he had not heard correctly.

"I know, right." Louis smiled bitterly. "I can't believe Niall would do this to me. I thought he knew how I felt towards Harry."

Liam chuckled humourlessly. "Louis, I'm sure this is just a misunderstanding. Harry would never date Niall. And vice versa."

"That's what I thought." Louis said, and proceeded to tell Liam about what he had found out about their little rendezvous' and how Niall had reacted when Louis had guessed it.

"I can't believe this." Liam said. "I can't believe Niall would do something like that."

Louis smiled, his eyes blinking rapidly. "It's fine. As long as they're happy together. "

Liam watched him. He thought he could hear Louis' heart breaking. This boy had been so sure that Harry was the one he would end up with, have a future with, but right when he decided to take matters into his own hands, he was taken from Louis. By one of his best friends.

It was cruel how the world worked. Liam would have to have a serious talk with Niall about this.

"You told him we're dating?" Harry almost yelled. "What the hell? Louis wouldn't even look at me the whole day, let alone touch me."

"I'm sorry, okay? " Niall said. "He was just so close to guessing what we're doing. I panicked."

"It's just stupid singing and guitar lessons. Why is it such a big deal?"

"I told you-"

"Yeah, I know." Harry rolled his eyes. "You don't want anyone to know we're practising for the musical try outs because you don't disappoint anyone or have people laugh at you how terrible you are even though you've practised, and you don't want anyone to know how good you are at playing guitar because you're modest as fuck and you want to surprise Haley with it one day and you're scared of your father because he doesn't want you to do anything artsy... but you just ruined all of my chances with my Boo-"

"I did not." A smile grew on Niall's lips, "You should have seen how heartbroken he looked when I told him we were dating. He loves you even more than you love him."

"That's not possible." Harry sighed, half dreamily, half tiredly.

"Yeah, maybe just as much as you love him. I'm still waiting for the day he realizes it. But that's beside the point."

"What's the point then?"

"That I didn't ruin your chances with Louis."

"You did." Harry argued. "He thinks I'm unavailable now."

"So what?" Niall said. "We just have to go through with this until the musical try outs."

Harry frowned. "But I don't want to pretend to date you and have Louis ignore me for three weeks. That's like going through hell."

"Stop being so dramatic." Niall rolled his eyes.

"I'm not being dramatic. It's the truth." Harry argued. "Besides, if we're really planning to participate in the musical we have to be a bit dramatic-"

Suddenly, Niall pulled Harry next to him on the bed and fell backwards with him, giggling.

"What the-"

"Shh." Niall cut him off, cuddling him close. "Babe."

Harry raised his head, seeing the heel of red TOMs disappearing as the door slammed shut. "What the fuck, Niall!"

Niall grinned at him. "This is the ultimate plan to make Louis jealous and realize his feelings for you."

Harry huffed. "I don't know."

"Come on, Haz." Niall said. "This plan is genius. It always works in movies and books."

Harry pouted. "But I miss my Boo. He's been ignoring me all day. And he didn't cuddle me yesterday night."

"If this plan works out, you will be able to even kiss him next time." Niall persuaded.

"Fine." Harry sighed. "But if this doesn't work out it's your fault."

"It will." Niall grinned.
