27. Avoidance

„I did it!“ Niall cheered, skipping into their room. “I got in.”

Harry let go of Louis, who he had been giving a congratulations kiss just seconds prior, to hug Niall. “I´m proud of you, Ni.”

“Me too.” Liam said, joining the hug.

“Me too.” Louis said lastly and wrapped his arms around everyone.

“I´m also proud of you, Louis.” Niall grinned. “Danny. You´re basically the lead role.”

“Why, thank you, Tom.” Louis winked.

Niall laughed. “I´m gonna steal you your girlfriend.”

“I´ll steal her back.” Louis said proudly.

“Eww, you´re gonna have a girlfriend in this play?” Harry scrunched up his nose.

“Yes.” Niall laughed. “Grease is basically just a romance story between Danny and Sandy.”

“Who plays Sandy?” Harry asked, slightly irritated.

Louis pulled him close and pecked his nose. “That doesn´t matter because in real life you are my only love.”

“You two are sickening, has anyone ever told you?” Niall said.

Louis and Harry giggled, “You might have...” Harry said.

“A few times...” Louis said.

“A few hundred times...” Harry giggled.

“Well, he´s right.” Liam said. “Niall, I mean.”

“Well,” Louis said. “It´s your fault you can´t handle our sweetness.”

“No one can.” Niall said. “You get diabetes.”

“But honestly.” Harry said. “Who plays Sandy? Do you have to kiss her?”

“Just like, theatre kiss.” Louis reassured. “Like, we won´t actually kiss.”

“Okay, but you still didn´t answer the question. Who plays Sandy?” Harry said. He watched Louis and Niall exchange worried looks.

“Umm...” Louis said.

“Eleanor.” Niall said monotonously.

“Are you serious?” Harry asked in disbelief. But neither Louis nor Niall looked like it was a joke. “You´ve got to be kidding me.” Harry sat back on the bed. He regretted not going to the try outs now. He decided to participate in the choir instead and you did not need to try out for that. “Of all girls in this whole school... Her?”

“Hazza.” Louis sat down beside him. “It´s not a big deal. If she does one thing wrong again, she gets expelled.”

“But... still.” Harry did not want to say that Louis once liked her enough to be her boyfriend, why not again?

“Louis´s not gonna leave you for Eleanor.” Niall rolled his eyes like he had read Harry´s mind.

Louis turned to Harry wide-eyed, “You honestly think that?” Harry blushed. Louis laughed and hugged him close. “You really don´t have to be scared of that. I only love you. You know that.” Harry did not answer and just melted into Louis embrace. He knew Louis loved him. That still did not ease the knot in his stomach at the thought of Louis playing a romance with his ex-girlfriend.

“You know who plays Marty?” Niall said cheerfully. “Me girlfriend.”

“Oh, that´s cool.” Liam said. Harry hummed in agreement.
