2nd person POV
You awoke to the shine of sunlight through your window beaming on your eyes, you sluggishly got out of your bed and mentally prepared yourself for your first day at your new school. You stared out the window in your room, orange leaved trees swayed in the wind, it was a beautiful day outside. You sighed to yourself thinking about the last school you were at before you left and the one before that and the one before that one and so on, you never really had any friends at any of them to care about. You were just remembering the reasons you left as a chill crawled up your spine but you quickly snapped yourself out of it trying to repress those thoughts as best you could.
"Just don't fuck it up this time." you thought to yourself as you brushed your (h/l) (h/c) hair and readied yourself for the day. You donned your (f/c) shirt, a pair of jeans, some worn out sneakers and a small metal bracelet, it didn't really mean anything to you, you just liked to keep it on you.
You stared at a black hoodie hanging in the back of your wardrobe, there wasn't much in there so you could clearly see it. You took it out and held it by yourself, looking in a mirror back and forth between your outfit and the hoodie and occasionally at your (e/c) eyes.
"First impressions?" you ask to yourself gazing once again at the hoodie thinking what might be said about you.
"...screw it." you say as you put on the hoodie pushing away any negative thoughts and began to head to the kitchen for something to eat before you left.
As you do the solemn thoughts of living alone strike again once you see a letter pushed through the letter box reading 'MOM', you open it, removing the money and skimming over the added note saying 'Money for the month' and other garbage you didn't care to read, thoughts
of your mother fill your mind as you put away the money."Tch! If you really cared I wouldn't have to live alone like this!" you shout to yourself.
Thinking this much about the past put you off eating so you decided to head to school and try to forget the past once again but you knew that you couldn't just forget, you lived through the same experience in every new town you got to, it was basically routine now.
As you started walking you put up your hood to try and feel a little more comfortable, not because you thought it was cold but to hide yourself from the world around you. You look up from the ground and sigh, your breath turned to fog by the crisp autumn air.
"Just gotta be brave." you mumble as you continue to walk, slowly approaching the school you were so reluctant to arrive at. You really didn't want to relive every other first day at school catastrophe you always seemed to have, you sighed again and looked straight forward.
"Be brave"
