Soul mates (Male Kris x Fem Reader)

Chapter 11

3rd person POV

(y/n) stood there with her arms outstretched, goading Susie to attack her, which Susie immediately did. She slammed her axe into (y/n)'s stomach, the force of the blow knocking her off of her feet and getting knocked into a nearby tree, "(Y/N)!" Kris shouted as Susie begun to laugh to herself but was quickly cut off when she saw (y/n) standing back up. 

"Is that the best you've got?! I think the tree did more damage than you!" (y/n) got to her feet and had a serious look on her face "Guess it's my turn." she said before running back over to close the distance between her and Susie, Susie swung at her but to no avail as (y/n) dodged with ease before throwing a punch straight at Susie's face. 

Susie remembered that (y/n) was a hard hitter from their brief fight in the light world and closed her eyes as she braced for the impact...But there wasn't one.

Susie opened her eyes to see (y/n)'s fist less than an inch away from her face, (y/n) then stuck a finger out and tapped Susie on the end of her snout saying "Boop." before jumping back to get out of Susie's range. 

Susie looked at (y/n), confused "What the hell do you think you're doing!?" she yelled, (y/n) looked at her with a laid back expression, completely different from when before the fight started, "You think I'm just gonna give up the whole pacifism deal that I worked so hard on?" she sighed and looked at Susie with a blank, bored expression.

"Besides, I already got everything I wanted from this fight and you're not gonna hit me anymore, so this fight has already finished." 

Susie stared at (y/n) gritting her teeth in anger before running at her swinging again but this time (y/n) dodged every single swing smoothly as if it was effortless which would further aggravate Susie causing her to swing more aggressively but to no avail. 

This fight was enough of a spectacle to stop the fight of Kris and Ralsei against Lancer as they started to watch from the sidelines cheering for their respective fighter, they watched the close quarters barrage of axe blows Susie sent out be entirely dodged by a bored looking (y/n). 

Susie ended her combo with a strong swing into the ground, embedding her axe into the ground and, as if blinded by her rage, didn't see where (y/n) was until she felt 2 light impacts on her head, "Knock Knock," (y/n) said before shrugging "Sounds like nobody's home."

Susie swung at her but missed again as (y/n) leaned away from the axe "Wow you really don't listen huh? You can't hit me dumbass!" (y/n) said continuing to berate Susie.

"Hey!" Ralsei shouted from the sidelines "Just let me have one Ralsei!" she shouted back. Susie took this moment of distraction to swing into (y/n)'s side, Kris and Ralsei panicked and tried to warn (y/n) as Lancer smiled thinking how cool Susie was as she swung with full force at (y/n) with a manic grin on her face. 

Kris and Ralsei looked on in shock and Susie looked behind her with rage in her eyes as (y/n) stood without a new scratch despite not even moving, "Tsk tsk" (y/n) said looking to Susie with a smug grin "How many times do I have to tell you?" she stood still with her arms crossed "You. Can't. Hit. Me." 

She kept her smug grin as an enraged Susie continued to try and land a hit on a stationary target but each time her axe seemed to change course and glide around (y/n)'s body as if it had a will of it's own. 

Susie started to take a toll on her body from all swinging and missing she had been doing and stopped swinging to catch her breath "W-WHY...!?" Susie shouted, still exhausted "WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE!!" 

(y/n) chuckled to herself before closing the distance between the two and started speaking, "Remember when you asked if I had some kind of power because of my parents? You said it as a joke," she grinned "Well you were right, I do. I've even given you a little preview in our fight. Although it seems that the dark world has powered it up a whole lot...But you don't care about that do you?"
