"I know what's like to lose." A booming voice spoke as Lex Luthor of Earth-3 looked up to see him. The Anti Monitor. The Destroyer of Worlds standing tall in midst of fallen heroes. "To feel so desperately that you're right, yet to fail nonetheless."
He picked up a beaten Superman with ease, walking towards Luthor with authority. "It is terrifying. Legs turn to jelly. I ask you to what end? Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same."
He stopped looking down at the last remaining hero. "And now it's here, or shall I say, I am."
