The Feeling Is Mutual

"Hello, honey," Mrs. Jeon greeted as she answered the video call, "how's my baby?"

"Aw... she calls you 'her baby'" Jimin cooed in the background,

"Everything's good mom... listen, is dad around? I have to tell you guys something?"

"Sorry dear, he's at work... what is it you want to say?"

"I'd rather just tell you both at the same time... can you just call me when he gets back?" 

"Sure honey... I love you"

"Love you too"

Jungkook hung up the phone and looked at the guys,

"How's my baby?" Jimin mocked, laughing

Taehyung walked into the room wearing the normal white t-shirt and black jeans,

"Anyone want breakfast?" He asked, shifting his body from his left foot to right foot and back, hands on his hips,

"I could use some breakfast," Jungkook said, getting up off the couch

"Me too" Jin stated, "You guys coming?"

"Nah, I'm not hungry," Jimin said

"I'm actually going to breakfast with Harmony" Hoseok informed, fixing his hair

"What?" Jungkook questioned,

"Yeah, I went to thank her yesterday for helping you, a-and we kind of hit it off..."

"OOOOOOO" Jimin and Jin both said like teenage girls,

Jungkook chuckled as Hoseok blushed. Taehyung rolled his eyes and put his hands in his pockets,

"Are we going or not?" 

"Yeah, yeah sorry, let's go" Jin apologized, heading to the door

Taehyung opened the door and left the room. Jungkook and Jin followed behind leaving Jimin and Hoseok alone in the room,

"So.. you and Harmony" Jimin let out with a smirk "Nice..."

Tae, Jungkook, and Jin were waiting in the line at the cafeteria waiting for their food. After around 5 minutes, a guy cut in front of Jungkook in line,

"Um, excuse me," Jungkook said

The guy turned around and JK was immediately taken aback. He was 10x stronger and buffer then Tae. He looked more aggressive then Tae as well. Jungkook felt like he dropped a load of shit in his underwear.

"What?!" The guys snapped

His voice was deeper than Tae's which sent a shiver down his spine.

"N-nothing" JK stuttered

"Hey Kook, I realized that you weren't in line behind us anymore," Jin said as he sat down at a table

"Um yeah... I uh I let this guy go in front of me" JK answered

"You let him? or he let himself?" Tae asked

"Eh, uh... the- the second one..." JK trailed off

"Jesus Kook, you're too soft for everything, you're gonna get chewed up and spit out here... I'll show you how to live to survive" Taehyung stated with a slight smirk on his face

Taehyung got up to throw away the garbage he had after his breakfast, so JK and Jin were left alone at the table,

"Ya know" Jin started while eating his food, "I think the feeling is mutual" 

"What?" JK asked looking up at Jin

"I think Tae likes you as well"

"HA! Uh, no... I don't, I don't- uhhhh"

"Come on... Think about it, Taehyung doesn't help just anyone, and he doesn't just let anyone join our little 'gang'" Jin said before taking a bite of his food "He likes you, whether he stubborn enough to admit it or not, I can tell"

Before JK could respond, his phone started ringing in his pocket,

"Hold that thought hyung," JK said taking his phone out of his pocket 

He looked at the caller ID and became flabbergasted,

"Oh, uh uh uh" JK stuttered

"What?" Jin asked with a face full of food

"Parents!" JK panicked "Parents! Parents!"

Tae walked back to the table "What'd I miss?"

"Parents!" JK continued to shout "Parents!"

Then he shot up off the bench he was sitting on and ran out of the cafeteria with his phone in his hand.

Taehyung looked at Jin and vice versa with confusion written all over their faces,

"Monkey Brain is back at it again," Taehyung said 

Jin let out his windshield wiper laugh.
