Chapter 40 December 1st

It was the first day of December Natasha woke up alone as she usually does during the week when Draco has to work. She got her Christmas shopping done for friends and family. She hadn't figured out what to get Lucius Malfoy for his secret Santa just yet. As she sat up she looked at the slip with his name on it and looked over what he wrote down for his interests in his elegant handwriting.

She looked over the list and realized his interests weren't so hard to find. Natasha got out of bed and saw a note inside her snuggle mug. She assumed it was from Draco. She got the note and unfolded it and read the note.

My darling dark princess check the drawers in your room this morning. The peacock dragon and diamond jewelry pieces have been switched up. I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised by the new selections. The note said Natasha smiled she loved surprises especially if they came from her Draco. She grabbed her outfit for the day a pair of blue jeans her Christmas socks and a green Slytherin tee shirt.

She got her wand and her hairbrush and a hair tie for her hair. She gathered up everything and headed to the bathroom. She laid her clothes on the sink neatly folded. She got out of her pajamas and put them in the black hamper in the bathroom. She opened the shower door to Draco's walk in shower and turned on the taps and adjusted the temperature and walked in the walk in shower and closed the door. She washed her body while her hair was getting wet.

She and Draco use the tub for weekend relaxing they use the walk in shower for mornings when they have to shower alone. The bubbles from her body wash washed off her body. She got her shampoo and squeezed some in her hand and lathered it in her wet hair. She washed her hair she's not gonna condition it cause she promised to help Narcissa this morning by putting name plates on the bedroom doors of the second floor this morning. So she's skipping out on breakfast this morning.

She let the water rinse out the bubbles in her hair. She loved the warm water cascading down her body in the morning. She turned off the taps and opened the door and got out of the shower. She walked over to the counter she got her wand and dried her body and hair with a simple drying spell. She laid her wand on the counter and brushed her teeth to get rid of bad morning breath. She rinsed out her mouth of the remaining toothpaste and put her toothbrush back on the sink. She got dressed right quick and then brushed her hair so it was free of tangles. She put the hair tie around her wrist in case her hair bothered her later she got her wand and left the bathroom.

She used magic to make up her and Draco's bed. With a flick and swish of her wand the sheets and comforter was all straightened up and smoothed out. She put her wand in her pocket and went into the room that Draco made for her. She opened the drawers in the dresser and was amazed by what she saw.

She saw gingerbread earrings a matching bracelet and necklace. Snowflake earrings necklace and matching bracelet Santa bracelet earrings and matching necklace Rudolph earrings necklace and bracelet elf earrings and matching necklace Christmas tree earrings Christmas wreath earrings ornament earrings icicle earrings necklace and matching bracelet for December. Oh she loved them she opened another drawer and saw red bird earrings and matching necklace and all kinds of blue diamonds and sapphires for to wear for January.

For February she saw heart shaped earrings and matching necklace xx's and oo's necklace and matching earrings she even saw lips in pink and red in earrings for February. She had never been so touched that Draco thought of the jewelry for her to wear for the different months. She closed the drawers and exited her room and headed downstairs. After being at the manor for several months Natasha had been finding her way around much better without Draco's help. She found Narcissa at the stairwell and rushed over to help her create the name plates magically on the doors of the second floor and spoke to her.
