Elle's POV

I laughed and ran to the other side of the apartment, "Jake! Stop!" I giggled as he ran after me, "Colby will be here soon and if he sees that we're acting like this he'll-" I screamed as Jake caught up to me and threw me over his shoulder.

"Get suspicious?" Jake finished, I nodded and started to poke his back, "let me down you ass," I whined.

Jake chuckled but held on tighter, "speaking of ass," Jake whispered, I gasped as I felt Jake's hand slide up my thigh ever so slowly.

Everywhere he touched left my skin feeling tingly.

He slowly rubbed my ass and I moaned lowly. It was a long soft moan that drove Jake wild.

Jake smirked and with that, he let me down. He kept smirking at me as we just stood in silence.

I rolled my eyes and trudged over to the bathroom to cool my face down.

As I splashed my face with water, Colby knocked on the door.

I came out and smiled at him, "hi baby!" I said, I ran over to him and hugged him tightly.

"Hi Elle," He replied, "how is the person I love more than anyone?" He asked.

His eyes sparkled, they were a dazzling blue and his cheeks had turned the slightest red, showing a sign that he had butterflies, his arms rested on my hips and I could feel the love he showed.

Guilt pained my body and washed over me like a tsunami.

I put on my most bubbly smile, "amazing! And how are you?" I giggled when he kissed my nose, "better now that I'm with you," he told me.

He took my hand and all three of us started for the car.

Every step I took felt like I was holding 100 pound weights to my feet.

I saw Colby as my friend, not a lover. I saw him as a brother, who I loved dearly and would do anything for, but not someone I wanted to kiss.

Colby got in the driver's seat, I luckily called shotgun so Jake sat in the back.

My phone binged and I looked at who had texted me.

Jake🤪: tell him or I will
Me: don't you dare
Jake🤪: Elle I swear to god
Me: please Jake, give me more time
Jake🤪: that's all I have given, and I'm done
Me: Wait, okay, I'll do it this week, I swear
Jake🤪: ...
Me: it's hard Jake, I can't hurt him as easily as you want me to
Jake🤪: you don't love him Elle
Me: I know, I know, but I still care
Jake🤪: I won't wait on you, if I have to I will
Me: Jake...
Jake🤪: I love you Elle, I won't hide it much longer
Me: I know, I will do it, I promise, and I love you too💕
Jake🤪: 💕

I put my phone on airplane mode so I wouldn't get any more notifications.

We parked outside the movie theater and went inside. We were all seeing the outsiders because the movie theater was doing a special weekend come back.

Jake went to go get snacks while Colby and I walked to the room the movie was in.

I squeezed Colby's hand as we went inside and he chuckled, "you're like a little girl on Christmas," I laughed, "that sounds about right!" He smiled at me and we sat down.

Jake came and sat next to Colby. He gave us all our own Cokes and we all shared a huge bag of popcorn.
