I can think so clearly with this book now that I've finished my other one lol xx

Madison
"It's only a couple of months," Roger tells me. I huff, and grow increasingly sad while I watch him pack his bags.
"A couple of months is a long time," I complain. I'm being selfish I know, but I can't help the fact I'm going to miss him. I know we've gone through this several times before, but it hurts the same each time.
Roger stops what he is doing and comes over to me. I part my legs so he can stand in between them. He cups my face and kisses me gently. I like his soft touch and I'm glad he's been in a much better mood recently, especially after getting his tooth fixed. It was causing him agita.
"You'll get to have some quality girl time with Chrissie, and Veronica, and Mary," Roger tells me, trying to make up for the fact he's leaving. "Plus you'll get to focus on school. Aren't you close to getting that degree?"
I shrug. "Kind of," I'm more than halfway there.
"Before you know it I'll be home,"
I know Roger is right. Maybe it's a good thing with him being away. This way I can focus on school and try to finish everything up so when he comes back it can just be us.
Roger runs a hand through my hair, twirling a piece on his finger.
"Promise you'll behave when I'm gone, yeah?" I ask the blonde in front of me.
Roger brings his head close to mine agains, resting his forehead on mine.
"No promises," he says, kissing my nose.
I laugh and lightly push on his chest.
"Rog, I'm serious!" I groan.
"Me too!" he argues jokingly. He pulls away and goes over to continue packing. I watch him throw some clothes in, followed by a hairbrush and other necessities. I also smile when I notice him wearing the bracelet I gave him a while ago.
Within an hour Roger and I are at Freddie and Mary's, waiting for Paul to come collect the boys. Everyone is here already; Brian, Chrissie, Freddie, Mary, John and even Veronica. Apparently John and Veronica have been getting along quite well since I introduced them to each other that one night we all had dinner. Mary claims she saw them out on a date but both John and Veronica denied it was a date. But we all know it was. I just wish they would go official already since it's completely obvious that they both fancy each other. It's like looking through glass.
"I promise to call when I can," Roger tells me. "I don't know what the reception is like or if they'll even be a bloody phone,"
"There better be a phone," John mutters.
"I better hear from you. From all of you," I say loudly enough for everyone to hear.
Freddie comes over and gives me a peck on the cheek.
"I'll definitely call, darling," he assures me. "No promises it won't be late at night though,"
"I don't care when it is," I say. I really don't. I just want to hear form them and I'm worried they'll be locked up in the middle of nowhere.
Paul Prenter arrives about ten minutes later and before I know it, the boys are loading their suitcases into the two cars that came to pick them up. I sigh and linger around Roger. When everything is loaded, Roger pulls me around the back of the last car so we can have a private moment.
"You better call," I mumble. Roger takes my hand in his, raising it up to his lips and plants a kiss on it.
"Every day," he tells me. "I promise,"
I trust him. I really do.
"Okay," I say softly.
Roger smiles and leans down to kiss me. I giggle as he pecks me all over, on my cheek, my jaw, my neck.
"Rog!" I squeal when his hands tickle my sides.
Roger laughs, finding enjoyment in this.
"I love you," he tells me.
I bite my lip and look up at him. I tuck a piece of his hair behind his ear.
"I love you," I say back to him.
Roger gives me another kiss, this one a little harder than the last. I push him off of me.
"Now get in this van or you'll never leave," I laugh. The two of us walk around to where the other boys are loading the cars. Deaky and Freddie are sharing a car with Paul, and Brian and Roger are in the other.
"Don't have too much fun without me," Roger tells me. He kisses me once more before getting into the second car. He rolls the window down.
"How could I have any fun without you, Roger Taylor?" I ask him, continuing his statement from before.
Roger grins. "I love you Madison Kayle," he tells me.
"I love you too," I tell him, laughing at how soft he is right now. I love Roger, but I have a sweet spot for this side of him. The sweet and carefree side of him. The softer side.
Mary, Chrissie, Veronica and I wave after our boys as the cars disappear down the street. I sigh once both vehicles are out of eye shot.
"I regret getting closer with all of them," Veronica sighs.
I furrow my eyebrows and look at her. "Why?" I ask.
"Because it hurts so much to see them leave,"
I smile sadly, and outstretch an arm. She walks into it and leans her head on my shoulder. I wrap my arm around her in a side embrace.
"It's the hardest goodbye," I agree. "But the best hello. That I can promise you,"
