I was ecstatic to know that the boys would be home in time for Christmas. Of course they were always supposed to be, but with their popularity increasing and the minor setback from my injury, I wasn't so sure when they'd come home. But alas about two days ago, a driver dropped off a very worn out Roger at our house.

His hair was incredibly long and knotted and his suitcase was as ragged as ever. But he still grinned when he saw me, his very pregnant fiancé.

We had vaguely told our families about the pregnancy and baby coming on the way. Roger's family was a little more excited than mine, which was to be expected. His mum even went as far as to invite all of us over their house for Christmas, and I mean all of us.

My parents graciously accepted the offer. I'm unsure if my brothers are going however. James and Jesse most likely will but I'm not entirely sure what Jay has been up to. We haven't really spoken since our spat when I saw him last, and that was months ago. I always ask about him when I call home but everyone's been so vague with what's been going on with him. It's beyond frustrating.

"Are you okay, love?" Roger asks me as we pull up to his parents house. I sigh and turn to look at him, rubbing my belly involuntarily.

"Our families have never met before," I tell him, a wave of anxiety washing over me. "We've been together for a while now and now they're finally meeting but we're also pregnant before marriage which isn't exactly the best thing in the eyes of some people,"

Roger frowns and leans forward, pecking my forehead.

"My family loves you. They don't care that we're not married and expecting a child already. It's not like it was just a hookup and we didn't know each other," he says, trying to make me feel better. I smile sadly at him.

"They're much more understanding than my parents," I say.

I remember when I called them. It was a little after Rog and I found out. Of course they were happy for us but there's still the tone of judgement and disapproval in their voices. That's what hurt the most. Although I felt a little better when Jesse and James got on the phone and expressed their excitement to become uncles.

"It'll work out. We'll butter them up and before you know it they'll be crying tears of joy when our baby boy comes," Rog says. "Roger Junior,"

I roll my eyes and push him away slightly while he grins like a fool. I take this moment to open the door and exit out, my back slightly hurting from my awkward position. Of course I'd nearly hurt myself getting out of the car. How like me.

Roger quickly comes around to my side grabbing my hand with his free one. His other hand holds a large paper bag in which everyone's presents are in. I had gone shopping with Mary and Veronica the other day, frantically buying everyone gifts. I'm not the greatest with gift shopping but Roger said I did good. He also said he picked up a couple of things along the way from his tour.

When we get to the front door, I knock. It doesn't take long for Roger's mum to swing the door open, grinning widely at us. She wears a red shirt and a pearl necklace which brings me Christmas joy.

"There's the lovely pair!" Winifred cheerily says, quickly embracing the both of us in a hug. "I'm so glad you could come today. Roger kept making excuse after excuse-"

"I was on tour mum," Rog reminds his mother, causing me to laugh as we enter the house. "A world tour, might I add,"

"Oh hush, darling. Madison is more than welcome to come over when you're not around,"

"I think she'd prefer it," I hear Roger's sister, Clare, say from down the hall. As Roger hands the gifts off to his mum, Clare comes over and gives me a hug. "I think I'd prefer it as well if you came without him. We can have a girls day, yeah?"
