The next morning I woke up to the smell of Noah. He wasnt here but I was in his bed. I rolled over in an attempt to get a few more moments of sleep but that idea went out the window when Noah came into the room. He jumped onto the bed with a chuckle and gave me a hug.
'You seen the article on NowNews?' Noah asked, leaning forward and opening the window, letting the warmth of the sun caress my skin and the breeze gently run through the room.
'No' I paused, remembering the photos that I saw last night 'I saw the photos but no story' Noah reached for his phone and showed me the latest picture, followed by an article titled 'trouble in paradise for the new love birds?'

The photo wasn't exactly flattering, my face was full and I didn't look the happiest, I suppose that made it easier for the media to chose a title likely to attract the most attention from the public. Noah snatched the phone away from me before I could sink to deeply into my thoughts, he decided we should go out for breakfast down the road. I got dressed nothing special just a jumper and jeans, whilst Noah wore the same however the jumper somehow never found its way down to the rest of his body, it hung round his neck, much like his top did last night.
When we arrived at the restaurant, there was once again a sworm of paperazzi outside, I looked at Noah with confusion, who had tipped them off about where we'd be?
'Don't even ask' he huffed, anger rushed across his face but it was gone so quickly I barely had time to acknowledge the emotion, nor did I have the chance to tell him I didn't care, as long as I was with him, nothing seemed to matter, except uni, I needed to get back on track with my studies.
We headed into the café and took a seat in one of the booths towards the back of the restaurant, of course Noah ordered the fattiest full English breakfasts he could find on the menu and two of the most delicious looking hot chocolates in the world. I smiled and Noah as he scoffed his face and looked around him, taking in a view he'd probably seen a thousand times. I couldn't help but snap a picture for my story.

After breakfast we headed back to Noah's so that I could collect my things and head back to my dorm room, Katie would be coming home in a few days and I wanted to make sure the room was in prestine condition for her arrival, I had begun planning a small party for her with Noah's help and I was really hoping it would help her mood.
As we pulled up to Noah's house I felt a knot in my stomach, I didn't know why but suddenly a panic attack flooded my body and I fell back into the seat, Noah walked around to the passenger side and held me close helping me to calm down. That was when I saw it, the car, the red car with the smashed back window and the radio wire on top that always lent slightly to the left, effecting the quality of the sound through the speakers in the car. I remember him getting so frustrated with it he'd slam the car into the side of the road, smashing it up, denting it and telling us all to shut it or he'd 'smash us up too'.
I began franticly looking round, looking for the man who called himself my father, I couldnt see him, smell him or sense him anywhere, this helped me to relax, Noah still held me even as I calmed down, he didn't let go.
'Come on, let's get you inside on the sofa with a drink and TV' he suggested, helping me out of the car and into then house. I plopptheater. on the sofa and tried to relax, I still felt uneasy and my hands were shaking, I couldn't seem to stop the flurry of nerves that were errupting in my body. Noah soon came over with a tray of biscuits and hot chocolates for both of us, he turned the TV on but his attention was soon turned to the left, towards the stairs. He stood up slowly headed towards the stairs, I closed my eyes and tried to calm myself.
'WAKE UP WE GOTTA GO MEG PLEASE WAKE UP' I flashed my eyes open and saw Noah, blood covering his face and he breath was so heavy you'd of thought there was a storm going on outside. I stood up and followed him out to the car, not before catching a glimps of my so called dad at the top of the stairs.
'You lied to me!' I screamed at him, a smirk filled his face as he watched the anger cover my face. 'You said you'd never EVER COME BACK HERE YOU MONSTER, YOU FUCKING MONSTER' I screamed louder and louder until my throat began to burn. That was when he raised the gun, pointing it towards me with a giggle, an evil giggle filled with power and hatred.
I ducked as he pulled the trigger, the bullet soaring towards the direction I was in, he ran past me, getting into his car speeding off down the road. I was about to let out a sigh of relief when I saw Noah laying on the ground, his chest, slowly rising and falling, his eyes were shut and there was a pool of blood around him. I rushed over to him, grabbing my phone and calling the ambulance.
As soon as the ambulance arrived he was rushed in and taken to the hospital, I held his hand the whole way there but was torn away from him as they rushed him into theater. I sat down in the waiting room, looking down at my hands that were covered in Noah's blood. I began to cry, how could I have let this happen.
