My foot was tapping on the waiting room floor as nurses and doctors rushed past, in and out of Noah's room and all around the various corridors of the hospital. I felt like I'd been sat waiting for some kind of news, I had probably drunk about 12 cups of coffee, eaten 400 biscuits and fallen asleep a grand total of never.
I was beginning to drift off in my plastic chair when there was a tap on my shoulder, I bolted up right and saw the doctor standing over me, a sympathetic smile covering her face.
'He's okay' she said simply, I let out a sigh if relief I didn't know I was holding and she chucked at me. 'A few bruised ribs, broken nose and a broken wrist but he'll recover soon enough, you can go in and see him if you like' she suggested and I rushed to his room.
'Hey' I whispered as I entered the room, tears threatening to spill as I saw Noah on the bed looking weak and broken.
He smiled at me and raised his hand in response as I sat down next to him, findeling with the bands around his wrist as he breathed deeply, opening and closing his eyes between each breath. There was a machine at the side of his hospital bed, it made beeping sounds with every beat of his heart beat and I was mesmorised by watching the lines it displayed bump up and down following the rhythm of his chest. Noah saw me watching the machine and squeezed my hand, gaining my attention.
'Turn that thing off will ya?' He chuckled and I smiled in response.
The nurse came in shortly after, disconnecting all the wires from Noah's body. She told us he could leave when he was ready and once again, for what felt like the millionth time that day, I let out a sigh of relief a smile plastered across my face.
Driving Noah's jeep was something I was never going to be OK with, it was huge, loud, fast and terrifying all round. Noah sat in the passenger seat, my normal space, his head resting against the window whilst his hands wrapped around his waste, supporting his ribs as the car bounced around.
'You look good in the driver seat' Noah started and I blushed at the compliment, remaining focused on the road.
'Don't get used to it hot stuff'
'Oh you think I'm hot?' I could sense the smirk filling Noah's face and my stomach did flips, this boy could do things to me and it scarred me.
'I-i didn't no I- Noah' I groaned, causing him to chuckle in response, leaning over, he placed his hand on my thigh, tracing small circles there and running his fingers up and down my leg.
My breath hitched as he fingers drew closer and closer to the buttons of my high wasted jeans, I looked at him from the corner of my eye and I could see he was enjoying what he was doing. I smacked his hand away causing him to pout but he soon got over it when I grabbed his crotch giving it a squeeze.
'Ow! I'm wounded you can't hurt little Noah too!' He claimed and I couldnt help but chuckle at the fact he called his member 'little noah' when we all know for a fact, its not little.
'I'll bite it off in a minute if you don't shut up' I responded, pulling up to the front of his house.
'Oooh your mouth near little noah? He likes the sound of that' Noah smirked and I flushed bright red. I quickly jumped out of the car, walking round to the passenger side, helping Noah out and onto the sofa in the living room.
'So, I'll go shopping, get you some food and what not, then I gotta go back to my dorm room and sort my life out' I announced, dragging a blanket over to Noah and pleasing it over him as he curled up.
'Noooo you can't leave mere' Noah whined and I laughed at his puppy dog eyes as he pouted and out stretched his arms. 'Ow' he whined as he retracted his arms back in to his side.
Seeing him in the vulnerable positon reminded me that although he may look fierce and powerful, he was easily wounded, both mentally and physically, I didn't want to leave him in his own...so I did what any crazy girl would do, I packed his stuff into a duffel bag and took him back to my dorm.
