I walked into the house with the music pounding and Blake banging on about how he missed Katie and needed Vodka to 'ease his breaking heart'. As I walked in I noticed a different kind of tone at the party, I felt a need to strut and I felt powerful in my black dress that stuck to my body.
I grabbed myself and Blake a drink before he dissapeared off to a corner with some other boys, I felt alone and I didn't really know where to go or what to do. Normally this would be my perfect place on a Friday night, music pounding, drinks flowing and people dancing but tonight...without Katie it felt wrong to be here, I wanted to go home. I let the alcholol loosen my nerves and sat on a seat in the corner whipping out my phone and texting Katie to tell her I missed her.
I jumped at the feeling of someone plonking down next to me and letting out a loud huff, I peeled my eyes up from my phone to see who it was and my stomach did a small flip. Why. The. Hell. Was. Noah. Centineo. Here!? I looked back at my phone and tried to pretend I hadn't seen him until he scooted up and double tapped on a picture on my Instagram feed.
'Umm hi?' I smiled as he giggled at my feed. His eyes were half open half closed and he was grinning from ear to ear.
'Hello, I'm Noah' he smiled holding his hand out for me to shake, I shook it and looked around, desperate for an excuse to leave.
'Not having a good time?' He asked also looking around the room of sweaty bodies and couples grinding on each other, I huffed at the sight of them.
'McDonalds is more my scene' I responded, pretty much shouting over the music.
'Me too, wanna go?' He asked. I was taken back by the forward question, I wasn't sure it was a good idea to go out with a new famous actor who's every move was tracked by an ever growing team of paps but I wanted to get out of here and that was the only reason I said:
'OK'
We stood up and wondered out of the house, weaving in and out of the bodies, bumping into a few puzzled looks as we left. He opened his car door for me and I hoped in, smelling the leather seats and leaning back, a wave of relaxation hitting my body as a sunk into the seat.
'Tired?' Noah giggled as he started up the engine and drove us to what a presumed was McDonald's. I responded with a humm and he chuckled again.
The roads seemed to wind on forever and the sky stretched for as far as the eye could see. I had found myself in the weirdest possible situation, here I was in a car with a famous actor, on my way to Mcdonalds. What is my life coming to?
