Beep! Beep! Beep!

I reached my hand over to the annoying noise.

"Wake up Oliver!" my mom yelled to me! "Your going to be late for school!"

Ugh so annoying. I said to myself

"I'm up!!" I yelled to my mom

"Ok I am leaving, breakfasts on the counter." she said before slamming the door.

As I got out of bed I noticed a text from my friend. I opened it and read it while walking to the bathroom.

"Don't forget we have a fieldtrip today!" He said.

Ughhhhhh I groaned I totally forgot. Shit.

I laid my phone down having to get ready fast.

10 minutes later.

After I got dressed and brushed my teeth I ran downstairs. Looking at the clock I groaned for at least the 10th time since I woke up. I didn't have time to eat breakfast! Mom was gonna be upset when I got back.

I quickly put on my shoes and ran out the door. I didn't have a car considering we were poor and we could barely afford the one we had now. So I usually take the bus. But I had missed it. So I had to run.

I started running and picked my phone up calling my friend. "Tell the bus driver or teacher not to leave yet! I am about a block away!" I yelled through the phone.

"Ugh ok! No need to yell. Just hurry up." He said half annoyed.

I didn't want to miss the field trip. First off I would get to miss school and another bonus is we are hiking. I used to hike with my dad before he passed away when I was 14. It has been 3 years since then and I still miss him.

I finally reached the bus and quickly got in. "Ok everyone is accounted for were good to go" the teacher tolled the bus driver.

I didn't even have enough time to find a seat before the bus started moving. I gripped the seat making sure I didn't trip and fall over.

I slowly regained my balance and started walking farther back until I fell down and hard. I would have face planted if it weren't for me catching myself. Ugh not again I just wanted to have a good day. I thought to myself.

I looked up just in time to see everyone laughing including Landon. My bully since 5th grade. Hes always pushed me around. Especially since I came out as gay.

I quickly got up and sat down in the next empty seat. I looked up to see my friend smiling at me mouthing "sorry." I nodded and then shrugged before putting my head phones in.

We reached a sharp turn and I ended up hitting my head against the window before I could stop myself.
"Ow." I quietly said.

I looked around to see if anyone noticed my embarrassing moment. By the time my eyes scanned everybody in front of me. I looked towards the seat across from me and noticed a really handsome guy staring at me. I didn't recognize him.

I didn't even realize I was checking him out until he starting smirking and chuckled to himself. Causing my heart to flutter and me to blush a bright red.

I quickly looked away. I stared out the window. Trying hard to ignore the eyes burning into the back of my head.

We finally got to our designation.
