I walked inside the house that I didn't want to call my home, I didn't want to be there  but I couldn't live outside for the rest of my life. I saw Austin, he came towards me and wrapped his arms around me and I felt soft. "It'll be and what he did. I wiped my tears and my arms around him tightened.

I finally let him go "hey there's a party today.. maybe you can just go off and move on.." he said to me and I hesitated, but I said yes, I had to get over nick.

"But it's 7 PM" I said when I looked at the clock confused of how late it would be for us to enter now..

"So what? People don't get there til 8. You can just dress up and we will go as soon as you're done" I nodded and smiled at austin for being so sweet.

We entered the house party and everybody inside was jumping to the rhythm of the music. I grabbed a plastic cup that had water, but it tasted weird. I shrugged and walked through the crowded house trying to find Austin again, which I failed, I couldn't find elle or Ashley, I couldn't find zion, Edwin it brandon, nobody.
I took another sip of the water that was bitter.

"hey" I hear a voice, dark and sweet. I look up to find myself in front if a stranger smiling at me, i itched the back of my neck while responding to him.

"I'm Jordan"

"Rey.." I said not sure if I should've told him my real name, he was ginger and had green eyes. I smiled at him turning around to walk to the yard and he followed me.

We started talking, talking about a lot of things, I had fun with him.. until he had to go because his girlfriend was calling for him. It's sad how you're hoping to find somebody, so desperate just to move on. I took another glass of water and I still felt the bitter taste but it didn't bother me. Then I took another glass and another one.

"Rey.." I hear nick say, but I didn't react because of how drunk I was.

"Hey" I hear another voice say, some stranger reaching his hand for my butt and I went for it, i was too drunk to react. I didn't know what was going on. Nick pushed the boy away and I got mad.

"Leave her alone dude" he said pushing him away looking like he would fight him.

"What are you doing?!" I yell back at Nick looking him in the eyes.

"Protecting you"

"As if I need your protection? my life has been better without you" I spit out unconsciously because I was drunk, I didn't know what was going on.

Nick grabbed my arm and pulled me away, he pulled me to a place of the yard where nobody was, where it was pretty calm.

"I ruined things okay I'm sorry" he said with a soft voice. He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at me. "Are you drunk" he asks me, but i shake my head.

"No, it's water" i say slurring my words as he take my drink and smell the drink. "It's vodka?" He says and I don't seem to react.
Blecause i didn't care about his opinion or myself. I wanted to drown myself in anything, anything that would make me disappear.

A tear fell of from my eyes as they got watery as I looked at Nick thinking of what I lost because of his dumb mistakes. I wiped the tears and I felt his warm arms cupping my face.
"Heyy.. whats wrong?"

"You broke my heart" I say slurring out my words, he sighed.

"It was the worst mistake I could ever have done" he says with a crooked smile looking at the grass between us.

"Let's play a game" he says and I smiled.

"What game?"

"The game we played when we were fake dating.. where we sung a song and would guess yno? The one we would play every time you were upset over zion" I try to hide the smile that soon would appear on my face. I nodded as I thought about that time.

Almost 1,5 years ago..

"Hey, it'll be fine. He fucked up" nick said hugging me tight in the living room where we were after zion told me he loved me but wanted to be with haley.

"It just hurts" I said crying over his shoulder, i felt warm when he was close to me.

"Let's play a game, we sing a song and guess the song"

"Sure, you start"

"Okay uh.. girl you got a bod-"

"MARTEEN SIRACHA?" I yelled out as we both laughed and he nodded.

"1-0" I said again.

"Ugh.. your turn"

"When I close my eyes all I think about is yoooouuuuu" I sang out as he laughed of how I sung the part you.

"I love you" he said laughing and I froze. Did I hear it right?

"What?" Nick was frozen.

"No I meant that- that it.. I meant I love the sung dumbass" he tried to play it off but he was bad at it.. but at the same time i wondered if he meant it or if it just slipped.

"Remember when you accidentally said you loved me?" I said laughing out as nick looked madly at me but couldn't help but smile with his lips.

"Yes I do, and I still do" he said as my laughter turned to silence and we both looked deeply into each others eyes. That was powerful.

"Well then let's hookup?" I said still drunk and smiled at him, his smile was crooked.

"No rey, you're drunk. What's the point in hooking up when I know you hate me and the fact that you won't remember this day?" He looked down at the grass while playing with it.

"Because deep inside I love you" i slurred our my words, nick rolled his eyes and I tried to reach for him but he pushed me away and walked inside the house. He left me on the grass, he left me hanging, he left me like he always did for another girl.
