I started this story as an explanation but now I realise it’s more of a goodbye letter.
I will always love you Shane, and carry you in my heart but I think our times run out. It’s better to leave something with fond memories than a heartfelt of regret and anger, trust me I know.
It’s happened before.
I once thought we were perfect for each other but now I realise the key word in that sentence is were.
People change and we are only young.
