Mia's P.O.V

I sat outside on my patio, sitting on a wooden bench. Today was the day, that he leaves. I wasn't ready for what was to come.

Footsteps were heard, following a door creak. There stood my brother in a camouflaged uniform and a duffle bag, with our parents in front of him.

My fathers regular scowl was plastered of his face, while my mother had a gentle smile.

"I want you to be careful dear. Make sure you keep in touch." Mother mumbled loud enough. I saw her quiver as a few tears started streaming down her face.

"Mom, I'll be just fine." He glances at me, I stand up slowly looking his way. My hands gripped each other, feeling the sweatiness from my nerves.

"Look after Mia. I want her to fulfill her dreams, along with her other goals. Don't let her or me down..." Dom spoke softly.

Mother shook up head rapidly and hugged Dom. It took quite some time for her to pull away.

Father placed his hand on her shoulder. She released Dom, still sobbing. The young brunette, looks at my father.

Father held out his hand, Dom shook it, "Good luck boy, but don't get into too much trouble." He spoke sternly, Dom just nodded.

He turned to me and crouched down to my level. I hesitated to run into his arms, but my feet moved on their own.

I let it all go. Letting my wet tears cover his shoulder.

"Awe...come on Mia. You're gonna do fine on your own." He whispered in my ear. "I want you to do whatever you can do to achieve what you want in life. Don't let others stop you or discourage you. It only matters what you think, you will be in control."

I just nodded furiously, my crying coming to a stop, still listening to his words. "Don't let anyone treat you wrongly, and stand up for what you believe in." I pulled back from his grip to look into his hazel eyes.

"You're going to have a successful future, I can already see it. You'll have many obstacles, but you can fight through them and show that you're strong enough. Be my little soldier." He says quietly.

He got up and started walking to a big black truck. Taking one last glance at the three of us, he waved farewell, smiling and showing his pearly white teeth.

He got into the vehicle, and left.

I started stirring, feeling the warmth of a comfy blanket and a cushioned pillow under my head.

I open my eyes to see a room that I obviously slept in. A light source to my right, gleaming on the walls showing all the features.

'What in the world ha-' My thoughts were corrupted when my head started aching.

I moaned in pain, rubbing my temples and scrunching my face. "Shit..." I mumbled, finally having previous memories when I was running in the rain.

I heard a creak of a door opening, looking in the direction. A boy, appearing.

'Wait, he looks familiar.' My eyes widen in confusion.

"Well you're finally up. It's about time." He says, walking over to you quietly. He taps the tip of the lamp on the side table, making it go brighter.

My head pounded more, making me squeeze my eyes shut. "I remember you." He says without looking at me. Putting a tray together with some type of pill and a glass of water.

I stare at him, realizing who it was, "You're that boy. The one I ran into today..." I mumble quietly. He turned around carrying the tray towards me, placing it on an empty space on the bed.

He snaps his finger, "Ding, ding, ding. Correct. Are you allergic to Tylenol?" He suddenly asks. I take a few seconds to myself before replying, "No."

He held the glass of water and Tylenol to me, making groan while moving, reaching it and taking the helpful medication.

I swallowed and thanked him. He just nodded, taking the water and tray back to the small table and turning back to me. A small smile showed on his face, "Isn't it weird? I only remembered you running into me the first time, and now you're in my sight again, injured with a concussion."

I scrunched up my brows, "Wait, if I have a concussion...shouldn't I be in the hospital?!" I yell, startled by the sudden mention of hospitals. I hated them with a passion, they were never fun.

"You did, but the doctor suggested you get some rest. He prescribed some medication for you that you'll take soon. My brother didn't know what to do with you, to my surprise, he brought you here to rest. Very unlike him but you're at least living and breathing." He responded, slightly chuckling.

I hesitantly chuckle with him, "That's good...so what's your name?" The raven haired boys brow arched, "I'm surprised you didn't notice me the first time, but then again, my brother gets all the attention."

'Am I suppose to know you?' I have him a confused expression.

"I'm Mokuba Kaiba." He says, smiling still.

'K-Kaiba...?' It suddenly clicked.

There was a moment of silence, until he spoke, "And you areeeee...?" I shook my head, getting out of my trance, "I'm Mia. I apologize!"

His mouth opened, glaring at me a little bit, "Why are you apologizing?" He asks, confusion in his voice.

I stood up and slightly bowed, "I don't usual meet famous people, and I ran into you today without recognizing who you really are and I just feel guilty!"

A man suddenly walk into the room without me noticing. "I've been so busy with important business and I'm just-!" Catching my breathe, I looked up to look at the boy.

"Mokuba, what are you doing?" A cold and deep voice asks.

My eyes widen, 'I'M SO GONNA GET SUED!'

I stare at the man in front of me, wearing a long white blazer, a tight black shirt, black pants, and black boots.

Mokuba beamed, "Hey big bro! Mia," He says while gesturing to me, "Finally woke up and I wanted to give her some Tylenol. I was gonna come up and get you to do it but I'd figure you were busy with business?"

He just gazed at Mokuba and turns to me. I cleared my throat, gaping my mouth open about to speak.

"Don't even speak. I have questions for you to answer." He narrowed his eyes at me, looking like he was figuring me out, but what's there to figure out?

"Mokuba, leave now please." He commands. The young teen hesitated but did as he was told, shutting the door on his way out.

I sweat drop, not knowing what to say. 'Oh no. He's defiantly probably gonna sue me now..."
