Mia's P.O.V

I slowly backed up to the bed and sit down. He pulled a chair out from a desk and sat across from me.

The feeling of uneasiness made my stomach upset.

"Mia? Am I right?" He asks, I nodded slowly. He scoffed, "You probably already know who I am." I gulped, too afraid to even think of his name, but I forced myself to say it.

"Who wouldn't know the CEO of Kaiba Corp?" I ask, not expecting him to answer really. 'This is just so awkward...' He didn't move or acknowledge my statement in anyway. "I mean, you're the famous Seto Kaiba after all."

If glares could kill, I would be dead right now.

"You will address me as Kaiba, someone like you doesn't get to speak my surname." His voice spoke with venom. I lowered my head and stared at my lap, fiddling with my fingers.

I didn't expect the CEO to have this bad of a side to him. Sure he was always on TV, acting like a regular formal adult with a mean face on him all the time.

'How could Tristan compare me to this guy?'

"Now tell me, why did you think it was smart to run across the street when you knew the light was green?" He asks. I slowly rose my head and look into his piercing blue eyes, well in fact, they were gorgeous.

I stare at him continuously, not saying a word. Just observing him.

He hand reached out and snaps his fingers, "Hey, I'm talking to you, don't ignore me." My face turned hot suddenly in embarrassment and I felt the need to apologize but instead answered his question, "I wanted to get home!" I spoke louder than expected.

He shook his head, closing his eyes, "I can't believe I'm wasting my time on a weakling like you." I then grew angry, the unexpected emotion boiling in me, "I'm not a weakling!"

Kaiba hummed, his eyes still closed, "Yeah, keep telling yourself that." I stood up off of the bed, "I wanted to get home faster, so I walked knowing that there was no cars coming, until you came about and decided to not watch where you were going! Hitting me and making me black out!"

He got up and grabbed something out of his pocket, a pill bottle with the prescribed medication Mokuba was talking about earlier. "Take this and go home. I have other important things to do than being a babysitter." He says in a harsh tone. I frown while holding the small bottle he handed to me. 'Really? Just like that and he's already kicking me out, even when I have a concussion!?'

The CEO opens the door, about to walk out before saying, "By the way, the car is already out and waiting for you to leave. Mokuba will be there as well to instruct you." With that said, he walked out, leaving me with my thoughts, 'I didn't even thank him...not that he really deserves it but still, it's wrong not to.'

Before leaving like he ordered me to, I decided to make the bed, not wanting to be rude in a way. After, I slipped my shoes on that were laid next to each other neatly by the door. A notepad and a pen caught my eye before walking out. Scribbling something down on the paper and ripping it out, I placed it on the night stand next to the bed.

Thank you for all that you've done Kaiba Brothers, I apologize for intruding for a short while. I'm truly grateful!
-Mia

After being led out of the huge mansion the Kaiba brothers owned by a maid, I was finally out by the car, well...a limo.
Mokuba, along with a body guard, stood outside the car doors staring back at me.

"Mokuba?" I question him, sweat-dropping. He rose an eyebrow at me, humming a response at me. "Why are we taking a limo?" Before I knew it, the teenager blurted out laughing.

After waiting for him to settle down, he finally spoke, "We're not gonna take an ordinary car. We only do this for our safety, well...my safety, anyway." Mokuba says. I only responded with a slow nod.

A few minutes past and before I knew it, I finally arrived at my destination. The same body guard opened my door for me, making me step out of the vehicle, walking forward and turning around to face Mokuba one last time. "So I guess I'll see you around?" I ask, interrogating the thought. Mokuba grins, "After our two unexpected encounters today, I'm sure we'll come across each other again."

I felt the corners of my mouth go up slightly, while leaning forward a little to thank him more formally. "Thank you very much." I exclaim. Mokuba just nods, still grinning from ear to ear, "Cya!"

With that said, the one built man got into the car, and the limo sped away.

I walk into my apartment, feeling the cold air giving me goosebumps. The atmosphere was so much different than it was at Kaiba's mansion. I took a seat on the sofa, taking a moment to think about the man. 'Why was he...so straightforward?' Not that it was bad to be that way sometimes, but the thought corrupted my mind. 'The least he could have done is be nice, but I guess having me stay there and getting me proper medicine was good enough.'

I inwardly slap myself, "Don't be so desperate Mia. He's a rich man, usually all rich people are that bold and prideful." I roll my eyes, groaning.

After taking a nice, warm shower, I got my pajamas on and took my pill that I needed to take two times a day. A blinking light then caught my eye, the computer on my desk still turned on but the screen dark. I jerked the wireless mouse to make it light up and logged back into it, wakening up from its sleep. A chapter that I was still editing way earlier in the day was on the screen.

I slightly smile, deciding on finishing it another time. After saving the draft, I shut the device down and crawled under my pink blankets. I plug my phone in before checking a few things on it first. Now was the time to get a good sleep.

Seconds, minutes, or maybe even hours, passed by. I kept tossing and turning, staring off into my dark room. I groan and shut my eyes tightly.

Out of all people, why is he on my mind?
