Prem stopped outside of his room, sudden anxiety flooding his stomach at the thought of seeing Wad now. He couldn't face Wad, not when Knott would have told King and Wad what a bad job he did to defend him.

He just stood there!

Arthit talked down Wad so much when he didn't even know him and all Prem could do was break down afterward!

Prem was having second thoughts about this and King could see it.

He ruffled his hair in frustration and turned to see that Wad's cousin was glaring at him from the corner of his eye.

"I will scold you later for what you did and did not do," King spoke bluntly, "But I refuse to let you, probably the only person I trust him with, to sit ashamed and never talk to him again."

Prem bowed his head and swallowed down his anxiety that had moved from the stomach to burn his throat and the back of his mouth. He reached forward and pulled down the handle of the door, letting it click open.

The senior pushed through the door to see Knott sitting on the couch with his phone in his hands and Wad on the balcony. He knew that Wad smoked, it was just something that no one could really stop him from doing (both King and Prem had tried several times), and he was fine with it as long as he smoked outside and while he wasn't around.

He couldn't scold Wad this time, especially considering that Knott was here instead of him.

Speaking of Knott, the hazer stood up at the sight of both King and Prem, waiied to the cousin, and looked at Prem with worry.

He knew that it took a lot out of Prem to even act decently in front of some people and to confront someone you liked when you knew that you disappointed them was something that must be strangling Prem.

"Hey, Knott," King called, seeing the worry in Knott's eyes reflected in the mirror in front of them, "Let's go for a walk. I want a drink."

Knott quickly left with King, closing the front door behind them with a wink and a nod to Prem. He looked after them with a pleading look but neither of them thought of going to help.

Prem needed to do this by himself...

Which is why King locked the door behind them.

If he knew anything about his cousin, when Wad heard what Prem had to say, he would either try to run or distance himself.

Wad may be a hothead but when it came to people that he cared about, he turned into a kid again.

Prem opened the balcony door and closed it behind him, making Wad turn to look at him. Wad's precious smiled dawned and he was quick to stamp out the cigarette with his shoe.

He knew Prem hated the smell so he quickly reached into his pocket and pulled out the small metal container of mints, popping one into his mouth before he said anything.

"Hi, P'Prem, how was the trip?" he asked, his golden smile making Prem's heart heavy with guilt. How could he let Arthit say Wad was anything less than anyone else?

"It could've gone better," Prem answered with a strained voice, playing with the gear bracelet in his pocket, "Arthit and I got into an argument."

Wad's eyebrows screwed together in confusion.

His seniors got into a fight? That couldn't be right, not when Prem had Wad to argue with and Arthit had Kongpob to deal with. Why would they fight each other?

"I'm sorry, Phi. You must be tired, I'll get my stuff off the bed," Wad spoke, reaching forwards and putting one hand on his senior's shoulder in support.
